Weisenberg Elementary Newsletter

April 2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope that your spring is off to a good start. Please remind your children to dress appropriately for the varying temperatures. Hopefully, April will bring some warmer weather to allow for some instruction and fun events to take place outside!

It’s time for students in grades 3 through 5 to take PSSA tests in math and language arts. The testing days are April 20-May 1. (April 20-24 will be English Language Arts. April 27-May 1 will be Math and Science). Please refrain from making appointments and Educational Trips during these days. If your child is sick, please have them stay home and we will have them make up the testing when he/she feels better. Please be sure your children have a healthy breakfast and are well rested on these days. We also ask you to make sure they bring a snack to school on the testing days. Please see below in this newsletter for other important information regarding the testing.

The school calendar will be very busy through the end of the school year. We look forward to field trips, assemblies, field days, and more. Please note that the end of the 25-26 school year has been established with the last two school days being half days on June 8 & June 9. The 26-27 school year is also board approved. Thank you again for your continued support.

Sincerely, Mrs. Berlet

Please check the lost and found area for missing items! The items will be donated in the summer months to our nurse’s office, as well as other charities.

To prevent an excess of misplaced items, please write your child's name inside any coats, lunch boxes or on water bottles.
