AI for Good is a conference for WFU students to learn about and discuss the effective use and the benefits of AI. Our goal is to prepare them for a digital world that is quickly advancing, and incorporating a must-have AI literacy skill set. Through this conference we aim to invest in their future and explore AI to improve their personal, professional and academic paths.

AI for Good is an opportunity to create and foster a learning environment where students can more fully engage with AI in meaningful ways. By showcasing diverse perspectives and innovative ideas, students will explore the effective use of AI as well as critically examine the ethical, social, and professional implications of AI, preparing them for success in a rapidly evolving digital world.

AI for Good will foster a culture of inquiry by providing students with opportunities to participate in discussions, research, workshops, and pedagogical uses related to AI. It will bring together experts and student pioneers, to engage in lively discourse around AI and effective use of it.

In addition, this event will provide a jumping off point for students to build meaningful partnerships and networking opportunities, expanding connections and understanding of AI's role in their educational journey. By bringing together our students and faculty with industry professionals, the conference strengthens Wake Forest's commitment to societal well-being and sustainable development.

The goal is for students to leave the conference feeling empowered and excited about AI in their personal, professional, and academic lives and understand how to use it efficiently.
