Hello Beacons! We are so excited about the spring semester and everything we have planned. Read on to learn about important changes and updates for 2024 Dining based on upcoming trends and your feedback!

What's New By Location

Food Court

  • New Limited Time offers at Dots Deli throughout the semester. See the dates and special menu items below:
  • 1/20/24-2/2/24: Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.
  • 2/3/24-2/16/24: Honey BBQ Ranch Chicken Sandwich.
  • 3/2/24-3/15/24: Middle Eastern Everything Wrap.
  • 3/16/24-3/39/24: Southern Shrimp Burger.
  • 3/30/24-4/12/24: Fresh Mozzarella & Red Pepper Rollup.
  • 4/13/24-5/3/24: Korean Steak Caesar Salad
  • 5/4/24-5/17/24: Grilled Spiced Shrimp & Vegetable Salad.
  • 5/18/24-5/31/24: Poached Pear & Arugula Salad

Chef's Table:

  • Soul of Creole - Executive Chef Randall Cajun / Creole food.
  • Jam Down - Sous Chef Kayon Jamaican food.

Dot's Deli:

  • New Signature Sandwich at Dot's Deli: The Muffuletta

Tres Habaneros:

  • New pulled chicken and Plant-based carnitas.
  • Freshly prepared taco bowls, tortilla chips, and halal taco meat.

Dining Commons

  • Fresh Baked Cookies for Late Night Bites
  • NEW Flatbreads at Late Night Bites
  • Special Event every day in February
  • New items on the Home Station including, Spicy Pork Bibimba, Shrimp & Vegetable Stir Fry
  • New items throughout the Dining Commons include Green Chile Breakfast Quesadilla, Grilled Pork Biscuit with Bacon Jam, Spicy Falafel Couscous Bowl, Sauerbraten, and an Indian Butter Chicken.

Dunkin'

New Items are coming to Dunkin' this spring:

  • Red velvet Donut
  • Pink Velvet Machiatto
  • Pink Velvet Latte
  • Pancake sausage, egg & cheese wake-up wrap
  • Pancake bacon, egg & cheese wake-up wrap

ISC Café

  • New bakery cooler installed
  • New pastry options
  • Refreshed grab and go options
  • Winter promotion: pistachio flavored beverages

Beacon Café

  • Hissho: Crunchy inari tofu bowl
  • Fry Factory: Seasoned house cut fries- cajun fries & garlic parmesan fries.
  • Mein Bowl: Scallion chicken, sweet & sour beef.

UMarket

  • New Gluten-free options.
  • Refreshed snacks are available, as well as grab-and-go options.

Nutrition Updates

Registered Dietitian Gabrielle is back from maternity leave! She is available to answers questions regarding food allergies or sensitivities, nutrition education through tabling events, and one on one meetings. Here are some upcoming events she has planned!

Meet the Dietitian: January 23rd

Students can stop by meet the RD table with any questions/concerns. The can also sample cranberry cold brew tonic.

Mindful Event: February 1st

Learn about the benefits of dark chocolate with different materials displayed at our Mindful Table. Enjoy some heart health trivia and samples of some delicious dark chocolate covered strawberries.

Destress with the Dietitian: February 20th

Learn different ways to disengage and cardiac benefits of reducing stress at our Mindful Event.

Are you on the Everyday App yet?

Our mobile ordering app Everyday, will allow you to view our menus and order ahead to skip the lines at participating on-campus dining locations. Mobile ordering will be available at certain stations in the Food Court and Beacon Cafe, Dunkin, ISC Cafe and our new virtual brands.

Virtual Dining Brands

We are thrilled to have the Virtual Dining Brands available through the Everyday App! These brands have been trending on social media and utilize a “ghost kitchen” to produce food for pickup. This allows us to increase our variety without renovating an existing space. Here are the brands we will be working with:

Food Court:

  • Buddy V's Cake Slices
  • Mariah's Cookies

Late Night Bites Dining Commons:

  • Mr. Beast Burger
  • Nascar Wings
