Setting the Scene: The Lutes play their final non-conference game of the season tonight, welcoming Pacific University to East Field.

About the Lutes: Pacific Lutheran (1-5) heads into its final non-conference game of the spring looking to bust out of a five game funk.

The host Wildcats tallied the opening seven goals of the game but the Lutes made it just a five goal gap midway through the third quarter after getting goals from Taylee Alldredge and Isabella Marchio. Unfortunately for the Lutes it was as close as they'd get in the 13-point setback.

Seven Lutes have scored a goal this season while eight players have registered a point. Taylee Alldredge is the Lutes' top goalscorer with 14 goals and one assist through the opening six games. Against Lewis & Clark, Jasmyn Zimmerman scored three goals while Sarah Quade tallied a pair of scores.

East Field Magic: PLU's East Field has been a tough place for opposing team's to play at during the 2024-2025 academic year. The Lute women's lacrosse squad along with the Northwest Conference Champion men's and women's soccer teams have combined for a 15-3-7 record on the turf this academic year.

A Season of Firsts: Women's lacrosse became the first new varsity sport for the University since 1996 when the team played its first game back on Feb. 16. That game saw a lot of milestones. First goal was provided by Taylee Alldredge, the first assist was claimed by Annie Latimer. Meanwhile, later that week Kassie Diller became the program's first NWC Athlete of the Week.
