Exploring A soul’s journey… A work in progress

Perceiving starts with a set of feelings from our senses, including our intuition.
  • When our feelings take over and color the scene, choose wisely the desired outcome.
  • In the quiet places when I walk alone, I find myself.
  • Passing ships
  • Relationships and the Art of Living…
  • Body & Soul
  • Watching two geese float down to a pond… in sync … Inspires me to know how They fly side by side As geese make it look so easy From floating on air To floating on the water. It seems they just know how. Know how to be a we without trying. As humans It is so much harder We is tough Because “I” has been hurt before. We is a place of negotiation and just being Dancing in the breeze of a summer night. The place where first light glances across your partners face. Revealing the moment again where you say yes. One hand touches another, Two smiles …Another steep down the path of we. When I see it in couples, it gives my heart a lift. Seeing two people gliding down the path…. Hand in Hand… She turns and winks with a smile … In that Moment I see joy manifest… I look forward

Our mind then parses out feelings into the “logic” of pattern recognition

Is it familiar?

Is it then determined to be good or bad

We then react according to this judgment

If we react from this we can miss the fact that it may not be the same.

If we put ourselves into a defensive posture then we can usually only react from that stance.

If we stay neutral and not react

We can begin to see the nuanced differences between the current situation and the past.

We now can be present to the experience,

We can reprogram the pattern recognition system into curiosity not defense

The crayons we choose to color these experiences are ours alone.

We can play well with others, if we can share the box of crayons with others.

Ghosts can be monsters hiding under our beds or they can be Casper the “friendly ghost”

When our feelings take over and color the scene, choose wisely the desired outcome.

Life is an adventure… Rarely do we have straightforward paths and unbroken dreams

But more often the shards of one broken dream creates the mosaic that will show the mastery of the longer path. When patience of the soul meets the will of the heart and life continues to push through the hard to become the garden of amazing.

In the quiet places when I walk alone, I find myself.

Sometimes going deep is required before reaching for the stars…

When an idea is birthed it is rarely at full brightness. The power of the soul provides the current of power that makes the invisible, visible. We can be a light for ourselves and others at that point. Be the light , the spark that ignites souls.

Joy of a child is driven by the delight of possibility. Be fully present to the sheer awe of life in the smallest of moments.

Walk in gratitude for the breath you breath and the body you experience is star dust. All of creation is here now for you to play with.

Be the gift that celebrates that fact.

In the small things…

When we can say and make choices to follow a dream, a path. If not for just a short way. All of creation will applaud us.

The interplay of tight and dark…

To really experience with all the senses is to begin to understand possibilities

Some things in life are hard…

Some things are soft

What do we hold in regret…

Sometimes, Gratitude is what is learned after the experience is over.

When someone touches your life an you do not know the purpose…

Passing ships

Passing strangers. Someone catches your attention. It feels familiar , Yet unknown. Starting a conversation to explore is hard. So many missed ques So many wrong numbers. Leaning into the art of exploring a thing. Not the idea of defining it. Just exploring. Just to find out more to know who this person is. That has inspired your curiosity. Is it intuition? Is it just curiosity ? We give and create meaning by our collection of feelings? Sometimes it is fleeting, sometimes something more. Small time is like building a collection of vignettes Memories of moments The smile that lingers

Relationships and the Art of Living…

There are people that remind us to feel again There people who ask us to open our hearts, and then, there are those that touch our soul. Even then, we know not how long the dance will last None the less, after it has been awakened the soul is left with a deeper hunger.

In gratitude to the people that have touched my life deeply. For the depth of learning that has opened my heart. To the new paths opened and the old doors closed. May you all be blessed with a heart opening and a beautiful path ahead

Namaste

Body & Soul

The Cup and the water The dance of the two holding each other. The water is more than the small amount in the cup, it is everywhere. It is the clouds, the oceans, the rivers and the tears. The small amount held by the cup is separate only by the illusion of the thin edges of the cup. The cup is but a container to carry it around. For drinking, to water the plant, to rinse the paint brush. After the the water is used, it is returned to the source and the cup is filled again. Did the cup hold only hold only the initial water, no It is but a container of the the thing that lives everywhere. So like our souls, it is contained but briefly by the cup, our body. We are so much more. Amen
