1R KLPGA Tour Suhyup and MBN Women's Open

Park Min-ji tied five birdies and a bogey in the first round of the first day of the Sh Suhyup Bank MBN Women's Open (total prize money of 1 billion won) at The Starhue Golf & Resort (par 72, 6,787 yards) in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, on the 31st, and tied for the lead with Bang Shin-sil, Park Gyeol and Yoon Min-ah.

Park Min-ji, who won 18 KLPGA Tour titles, has yet to win this season.

However, he finished warming up by tying for third place, his best performance of the season, at the E1 Charity Open last week.

In particular, Park Min-ji participated in the tournament after beating Jang Ha-na (KRW 5.774,492,684), including the E1 Charity Open prize money, to become the No. 1 overall prize money (5.797,783,448 won).

He is also the winner of the 2019 and 2020 MBN Women's Open, where the 2019 tournament was held in Dustahue like this year.

Park Min-ji, who started at the 10th hole, made a bogey on the 13th hole (par 5), but recovered with a birdie on the 18th hole (par 5), and gained momentum with consecutive birdies on the 4th and 7th holes to start her challenge to recapture the top.

Park Min-ji said, "When I won here five years ago, I didn't see anything because it wasn't long after I got out of the rookie, so I only saw the green and fairway, but the scenery is really pretty today. It was refreshing because it felt different even though it was the same course," and added, "I will do my best to finish the rest of the round well and win."

Bang Shin-sil, who finished the E1 Charity Open in 14th place last week, and Park Gyeol, who has one career win, and rookie Yoon Min-ah are also tied for the lead.

Bang Shin-sil said, "It's a shame that I couldn't concentrate well when I putt because I was physically tired in the second half, but I created a lot of chances because I had a good shot sense overall," and added, "I will complement my putt well and play tomorrow."

As many as 10 people, including Moon Jung-min and Ko Ji-won, gathered in the joint fifth place, one stroke behind the joint leader, forming a dense upper rank.

Lee Ye-won, the "strongest" who won two games this season, defending champion Hwang Yoo-min, and Sung Yu-jin of the LPGA Tour, who participated as a recommended player, finished the first round tied for 15th (2-under 70).

Hwang Yoo-min said, "I don't feel the pressure of being a defending champion, but I just want to show everything I've prepared," adding, "I'll focus on the remaining round tee shots and play while reading the slope well without missing short putts." 토토사이트넷

Yoon In-na tied for 26th (1-under 71), Lim Hee-jung tied for 41st (even-par 72), and Bae So-hyun, the winner of last week's E1 Charity Open, tied for 75th (2-over-par 74).
