Avery Stowe Silvermine Student

Avery Stowe has been an aspiring artist from a very young age. Her grandmother, Betsey Fowler, a local artist, has been her mentor and biggest supporter since she could lift a paintbrush. Avery has taken some art classes, starting at Green Moon in Rowayton during her preschool years, and more recently at Rowayton Arts Center (RAC). Last summer, she took a still life acrylic painting class at Silvermine Art Guild. She is currently attending ninth grade at King School in Stamford, and is very involved in the arts program there. She sells her artwork at local craft markets alongside her grandmother. She has been selling her own art since she was ten. She is currently fourteen years old.
