Little Miss Graphic Designer with a passion for creativity and design. After seven years of hands-on industry experience, I transitioned to freelance to spend more time with my family! When I’m not working on a new project, you’ll find me sipping iced coffee, updating my early 1900s home, or browsing the web for fresh design inspiration. I love helping individuals and businesses tell their stories through design, and I’d be thrilled to bring your vision to life!

My story and creative Roots
From a young age, I was always redesigning my room or creating menus and settings for the games I played. That love for design naturally led me to take every art and graphic design class I could throughout high school. It was during this time that I also began seriously looking at art as a career and dating my high school sweetheart, who would later become my husband. My passion for creativity and design has been with me from the start, and it’s something I continue to nurture and explore in my professional journey.
I went on to pursue my love for design in college, where I earned my Associate’s in Graphic Design and a Bachelors of Fine Art. During my time at school, I honed my skills, explored different design techniques, and deepened my understanding of the industry. The experience gave me the solid foundation I needed to launch my career and transition into freelance work after gaining hands-on industry experience.
Where it all started
My career started with an internship at a local design shop, where I gained hands-on experience creating websites, branding, and vinyl work. From there, I was hired by a local newspaper as a web designer, a role that gave me the opportunity to manage a variety of projects. I was responsible for designing websites, creating web ads and print materials, and even overseeing complete marketing campaigns. This diverse experience allowed me to build a well-rounded skill set and prepare for the freelance work I do today.
After gaining valuable industry experience, I transitioned into freelancing, where I’ve focused on helping clients bring their brands to life. My freelance work spans across branding, custom invitations and stationery, as well as digital painting and some web design. I love collaborating with clients to create unique designs that truly represent their vision, whether it’s a personal project or a business brand. Freelancing has allowed me the flexibility to work on a variety of creative projects while continuing to grow and evolve as a designer.
Continued Success
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including a Silver ADDY Award for a stationery package and an AIGA Award for a fine art piece I created. I’ve also earned several smaller recognitions for various projects through the years, which inspire me to keep pushing my creative boundaries.
