  • The following information provides an overview of various ways of communication throughout the school year
Remind Communication Application
  • Administrators have the ability to send messages to all users in a designated school, however, they should use Blackboard for this type of messaging.
  • Administrators can use Remind to interact with individual parents or unique groups.
  • Teachers have easy two-way communication with parents and can keep students on track.
Schoology

Teaching and Learning Updates

Middle School Master Schedule UPdate

  • Cab students currently receive approximately 80 minutes every other day in English (ARC curriculum) and Math (Illustrative Math).
  • Both curriculums are designed to be implemented a minimum of 60 minutes per day.
  • During the 24-25 School Year, we have increased instructional minutes for Math and ELA in Middle School.
  • We are restoring the 30-minute activity period back to community building by restoring art and academic enrichment activities.
  • Note: All student schedules will be updated throughout the summer and will not be available in HAC until the start of the school year.

Culture and Climate Updates

New Student Orientation

  • On August 13, 2024, we will hold our annual new student orientation 8:00-3:00 PM.

  • There will be a family session held during lunch. More information will be provided.

Cab Calloway staff and administration remain dedicated to nurturing a sense of belonging and community after the pandemic. We understand the significance of embracing, celebrating, and supporting the diversity within CCSA community.
