HISTORY
Navarro College - Midlothian was established with the construction of Building One in 2006. In late 2006, the Multi-Institution Teaching Center (MITC) was opened in partnership with Texas A&M University-Commerce. In 2010, Building Two was constructed and a partnership with Tarleton State University was created. Building One and Two houses classrooms and office space, all shared by the higher institution partners. The MITC was renamed to the Midlothian Higher Education Center at Navarro College in 2012. In 2014, the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program began in Midlothian. In the Spring of 2015, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program was started. With the expansion of programs and partnerships with Universities, the future looks bright.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A BULLDOG?
It means being part of a rich history and tradition that continue to shape our campus community. It's engaging in the spirit of exploration and discovery that began with our founders. Bulldogs are eager to know more about the world they live in and how they will make their mark by contributing a fresh perspective.
