WAGNER ATHLETICS

2025-26 YEAR IN REVIEW

SEAHAWK SUCCESS

Following one of the most successful years in Wagner College Athletics history, the Seahawks delivered yet another remarkable and historic campaign during the 2025-26 season.

As we look ahead to the new academic year, I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes—both in the classroom and in competition.

Academically, our department posted an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.43, highlighted by Rylee Ferretti and Eliza Parazzi each earning Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards.

Athletically, the 2025-26 season was one of the most successful in Wagner history. A department-record five teams captured conference championships, highlighted by women's soccer, men's tennis, and softball winning the first conference titles in their respective program histories. Women's water polo continued its dynasty by securing its 13th MAAC Championship and an NCAA Tournament victory for the third straight season, while men's outdoor track & field claimed its fourth NEC Championship in the past six years.

In total, 77 Seahawks earned All-Conference honors across 19 teams.

Thank you to President Doggett, the Board of Trustees, and the entire Wagner College administration for their continued support of our programs and student-athletes.

Go Seahawks!

Walt Hameline - Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics / Interim Athletic Director
