Last Week's Highlights
Week In Review
We had a productive and fast-paced week across the Tech & Innovation team. It was great to welcome back Ashley Romeo, who returned from maternity leave and immediately contributed by organizing her workspace, reconnecting with the team, and designing a new lock screen. We also welcomed Anneliese Jennings, who has quickly immersed herself in our systems and is already making a strong impact.
Some of the week’s highlights include: Rolling out iPads and PCs for new students and responding to tech needs across buildings. Refining Power Automate workflows for Transportation and supporting systems like Infinite Campus, Raptor, and My Payments Plus. Supporting iPad projects, Apple Classroom updates, and onboarding new counselors. Completing badge access installs, troubleshooting paging systems, and programming radios for Special Ed. Submitting the first 2025–26 PIMS data and supporting enrollment reporting. Planning for the 26–27 realignment year and resolving Helpdesk tickets. Continuing phone system support, researching new panels, and auditing user accounts. Addressing web filtering issues and developing tools to streamline student access to shared drives. Thank you all for your continued focus and collaboration.
Shout-Outs or Appreciations
The Shout-Outs & Appreciation section highlights team members who went above and beyond to support their colleagues, solve problems, and contribute to the success of our department. All nominated by you from the form!
This week, we celebrated several team members for going above and beyond. Ashley Romeo was welcomed back from maternity leave, and Anneliese Jennings was warmly welcomed to the team. Pete Dilg was recognized for troubleshooting the Raptor Badge Printer at Doyle Elementary. Jim Baldridge stepped in to correct a delivery issue and personally delivered the right supplies. Katherine was appreciated for her outstanding support during Ashley’s leave, keeping attendance sheets, Frontline workshops, and spreadsheets up to date. Andrew Smith and Mike Kelly were acknowledged for their support with iPad use in classrooms. Andrew, Corey, Will, and Kristie were commended for their teamwork in managing RingCentral tickets. Dan was praised for quickly resolving an HR reporting issue. Ed and Jim Boulton helped troubleshoot lab issues, and Nick Taylor responded quickly to reset a teacher’s phone. Will Everett was also recognized for assisting with Autodesk issues at the high school level.
See the Good, Be the Good
As part of our district-wide theme for 2025–26, See the Good, Be the Good, we’re highlighting moments of positivity, collaboration, and impact across our schools and ESC. Each week, staff are invited to share examples of “good” they’ve seen — whether it’s a small act of kindness, a team effort, or a breakthrough that made a difference. Here are two standout moments from this week’s submissions:
Back to School Night at Lenape Middle School was a great success, filled with positive energy and strong connections between families and staff. At Operations, an employee noticed an Apple Watch lying in the parking lot, stopped his truck, picked it up, and made sure it was returned to its rightful owner — a simple act of honesty that made a big difference. At Lenape, the consistent use of Canvas is helping students stay organized and on top of their assignments through the calendar tool. And in a sweet gesture of kindness, a staff member passed out caramels to colleagues in the building, bringing smiles to many faces.
