A little about me
Affectionately known as 'Miss Sunshine', my first love is writing. My creative side allows me to intertwine real life situations with my colorful imagination to help clients, co-workers and team members bring great stories to life! Whether I'm hosting a podcast, or radio show solo, or interviewing multiple people on a Red-Carpet Event, my fearless and infectious inviting personality takes the stage to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share some of their most personal moments with me. Early in my broadcast media career I had the pleasure of interviewing Ramona Rizzo from Mob Wives; Michael Jackson's niece, singer, Tanay Jackson; Mama Jones, Reality TV star and mother of rap artist/producer Jim Jones; the late rapper/producer Fred The Godson; June Archer, 50 cent's childhood friend/author and President/CEO of "This is 50"; Americas' toughest Principal-Dr Marco Clark, and Dr. Steve Perry "America's Educator" and adviser to Oprah Winfrey, TD Jakes, and Steve Harvey as well as many other amazing people! I am currently editing a full-length movie that I wrote, directed and produced called "The Four Walls". Consistency, loyalty and organization are some of my strengths as well as working under pressure with tight deadlines.
What I am looking for:
My ultimate goal is to obtain a position with an awesome broadcast media company where I can utilize my skills and be an asset in helping the company grow and thrive. I desire to work for an organization that takes pride in their core values and employees. I am open to positions both on and off-air, and I am very skilled with editing audio and video. My dream job is to host a morning show on a terrestrial radio station and bring a different and unique perspective to many of the trending topics the world takes interest in.
Background and Education
After High School, I went into the medical field working as a Medical Receptionist and Assistant, and then eventually went to work on an ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician. This would be the job that taught me how to work well under pressure! During my time in the medical field, I began to fall in love with radio after the Program Director of a local radio station heard me doing an interview for fun at an event and offered me a chance to do my own show. I loved radio so much that I decided to "throw caution to the wind" and attend The Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Stratford, CT. I graduated in 2011, and just recently returned to sharpen my skills. I graduated from the Radio/TV Broadcast program on 11/13/2025.
Career Beginnings
After graduating from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2011, I was hired there to be a Studio Monitor and assist students with their audio and video projects. A short time later I did an internship with Tyro Broadcasting as a producer for an online radio show and eventually hosted my own show. My first experience working for a major Broadcast Media Company was with Cumulus Media. I was an intern for WFAS Radio in Hartsdale NY. I traveled from Connecticut and eventually was hired and transferred to their sister station in Bridgeport, CT., WEBE 108 FM.
