A note from Mr Higginbottom

Hello! What a fabulous TT Rockstars Day we've had today! Thanks so much for supporting this event - the children have had a great day and shown their brilliant maths skills, too! Don't forget that next Friday is another optional dress up day for Hallowe'en.

Whilst most of the school were dressed as Rockstars, I spent the day with 9 of our footballers as they took part in the Rotherham EFL Utilita Kids Cup 24/25. They played amongst lots of other Rotherham schools, who were divided into 4 groups. We just missed the progression point for our group but we enjoyed some friendly games with other schools in our Trust during the afternoon. The players showed great spirit and played really well - there were some great games, including a 4-0 win in one of our matches! Well done boys, it was great to spend the day with you, and thank you to Mr Rouane for giving up his time to coach the team.

Children finish school on Friday 25th October and return on TUESDAY 5th November.

We'd be grateful if you'd remember that you have a responsibility to inform us if your child is absent from school. Please telephone the school office to do this, rather than using Dojo. Please could you also remember that classroom doors are open at 8:40 and children should be in class, ready to start lessons by 8:50? Thank you.

We hope that you have a fabulous weekend - don't forget to pop and see us on the bridge, contact us on Dojo or Arbor if you need us, or pick up the phone. We always want to work with you to get the best for your child.

Thank you for your continued support of our school and for supporting your child by ensuring they're at school on time and they read at least 4 times each week. If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's time in school you can email enquiries@sqp.wwpat.org, find me on ClassDojo or chat to me at the start or end of the school day.
