How do I Prepare for an Advising Appointment?

You should prepare for an advising appointment beforehand. Doing the following will allow your advisor to make the most of your time together and give you a personalized and thorough plan:

  1. Come prepared to share your high school schedule, any AP scores, or college courses not from WSU.
  2. Have questions prepared that you want to ask.

Important Policies & Deadlines

  1. You may only register for 20 WSU credit hours per semester.
  2. You may take no more than 30 credit hours per year of Concurrent Enrollment courswork.
  3. Do not add/drop any Early College classes once the semester has started without checking with your HS Counselor and Dual Enrollment Advisor first.
How To Guides

Common College Terms and Definitions

Get Credit For Courses That Are Not From Weber State

Unless a CE course is offered by Weber State, the university and our advising team are unable to see those courses or grades. To get those classes added to your WSU transcript, it will require you sending an official transcript from the other University to Weber State's admissions office once you complete the course and have received a final grade on that college transcript.

Get Credit For AP Exams

Request to send your scores to Weber State when you sign up for the test. If you fail to do it during sign ups, students can login to College Board and complete the request at any time afterward. Please do this early as it can take months for the scores to get to WSU!
