St. Peter Principal's Weekly Newsletter september 10, 2025

We celebrated our Blessed Mother Mary's Birthday on Monday! Students wore their blue spirit shirts and blue accessories and brought flowers for Mary's grotto!

Progress Check TODAY - Wednesday, September 10th

All grades are updated in the FACTS Family Portal. Please check your child's progress at this midpoint of the 1st quarter.

Mrs. Sigler's Kindergarten classes learned about prayer by making their own prayer sandwiches! Top slice of the bread is the beginning of the prayer and the bottom bread is the Amen. Whatever they chose to be in between was their prayer. They got to choose their condiments, cheese, meats, and extras - all labeled with a prayer prompting, including prayers of supplication, praise, thanksgiving, and contrition. Good sandwiches were had by all!

Morning Carline Reminder

Parents, when using the morning carline on Washington St., please hold your children in your vehicles until a staff member arrives for duty at the 7:15 bell. For safety purposes, students are not allowed to stand near or access the gate unless a staff member is present.

Mrs. Sigler's Kindergarten religion classes learned about our newest saints who were canonized this past Sunday!
Mrs. Blanchard’s 1st grade class celebrated the newest Saint, Carlos Acutis. They celebrated by drawing and painting the Eucharist and enjoying Italian cookies!
Paul and Joan Dittman visited Campus Ministry to talk to the students about their life as a military family and how their Catholic faith has been “an anchor” for them over the years. We recently spent time learning about the way of life and challenges of being a military family and ways we can spiritually and physically show care and support for them. Captain Paul retired recently after 29 years of service in the Coast Guard.
All donations for Operation We Care will be collected by our homeroom teachers. Thank you for your support!
Families are welcome to join us in the front of The Holy Family Center to view the procession.
