Digital Art Prize 2025
The main prize for each category is the WACOM Intuos Pro Medium and a 12-month subscription to the ADOBE Creative Suite
Highly commended students will also received a Certificate of Achievement and feature on the full range of social media

Competition Categories
Category 1: 3D Art and Design
This can include any digital 3D object, such as:
- Game Characters
- Concept Art
- Model with Demonstrated Topology
- Jewellery Design
- Fashion Design
- Interior Design
Criteria: The Industry Panel will look for quality in the following areas:
- Form and detail
- Style and composition
- Creative use of 3D
- Developed concept
Category 2: Graphic and Commercial Design
Design can include:
- Graphic design
- Commercial design
- Fonts/lettering
- Fashion Concept Design
- Interior Design
Criteria: The Industry Panel will look for quality in the following areas:
- Form and function
- Concept development
- Principles of design
- Colour and texture
Category 4: Illustration and Digital Art
Illustration and Digital Art can include:
- Game environments
- Concept art
- Illustrations
- Fashion illustrations
- Interior illustrations
- Digital paintings
- Film or animation storyboards
Critieria: The Industry Panel will look for quality in the following areas:
- Originality of concept or story
- Strength of style
- Quality of composition & design
- Innovative use of digital techniques
Things you need to know
- Open to any student enrolled at TAFE NSW in 2025
- Students can enter a maximum of 5 artworks or designs per category - So only submit your very best work!
- Students are strongly encouraged to use a WACOM + ADOBE product for their submission but it is not mandatory.
- Participants are welcome to submit any digital art they have previously created. Artworks do not have to be created specifically for this competition.
- Artists should only submit original works for which they hold the copyright. Any use of AI must be acknowledged.
- Submission will be through any secure cloud storage provider such as Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive, We transfer or similar.
- No minimum resolution is required but should be appropriate to the scale of the artwork. NO PDFs please.
- All entries MUST include a signed TAFE NSW Authority to Publish Form (Ask your teacher)
