Our Executive Director

2024 was a significant year, personally and professionally. We moved our offices to Sand Point Way, long time staff retired, and my dad, Doug, passed away. He helped Soulumination behind the scenes long before it's inception as a 501c3 20 years ago. Lending his physical spaces for events, endless time, trucks, ears, and smile to our cause.

With my entire life being documented, it is in my nature to turn to those photos, in good times, and the hardest times, as they tell the full story of my life. Professionally, the words of families we serve echo the importance of a complete legacy. 'The photos are amazing. Not only are they beautiful, but they capture this strange moment in our family's life very accurately. I see the joy, the uncertainty, and the strength of our bond in almost every photo.'

Soulumination is honored to do this work, to be allowed into the sacred spaces with the families we serve, to preserve the spectrum of memories.

With love and care,

McKenzie Johnson

Words From Families We Served In 2024

Soulumination has allowed us to have memories to cherish at any moment.
The photos and gifts brought something to look forward to and treasure during the most difficult part of our lives.
Having beautiful images of our family during a very stressful, intense season of life was such a blessing.
These pictures are so special because these were the first real pictures I have of all three boys together.

With Love and Care,

Soulumination

We are so grateful to have these lasting memories through Soulumination.
These photos are priceless - admittedly they capture her not at her best, but to have photos of our everyday lives was so important. The photos help complete the picture of her life.
The images mean more than we can say. The photos and keepsakes are something I will always treasure.
We got to feel like a typical family! I didn't have to explain or justify why he has all this equipment. This experience was such a gift.
