Our Executive Director
2024 was a significant year, personally and professionally. We moved our offices to Sand Point Way, long time staff retired, and my dad, Doug, passed away. He helped Soulumination behind the scenes long before it's inception as a 501c3 20 years ago. Lending his physical spaces for events, endless time, trucks, ears, and smile to our cause.
With my entire life being documented, it is in my nature to turn to those photos, in good times, and the hardest times, as they tell the full story of my life. Professionally, the words of families we serve echo the importance of a complete legacy. 'The photos are amazing. Not only are they beautiful, but they capture this strange moment in our family's life very accurately. I see the joy, the uncertainty, and the strength of our bond in almost every photo.'
Soulumination is honored to do this work, to be allowed into the sacred spaces with the families we serve, to preserve the spectrum of memories.
With love and care,
McKenzie Johnson

Having beautiful images of our family during a very stressful, intense season of life was such a blessing.
These pictures are so special because these were the first real pictures I have of all three boys together.

Video: What our services mean to health care providers and families
The photos and gifts have provided us with a constant reminder of how strong he is, and how our family has been to get through this terrible tragedy and come out on top.
The photos remind us of how precious, blessed, and beautiful life has been for us.
Having photographs at this stage of her life is very significant, since together we are able to overcome adversity.
Families maintain all rights to their images with the option to release them to us for use in bringing awareness to our work.
The photographs are beautiful and have captured the toughest times our daughter is currently facing.
The photographs show her bravery, resilience, strength, and positive spirit regardless the situation.

We haven’t had a professional photo shoot since he was an infant and before his diagnosis, so this is incredibly special.
She was something so special, and now we are able to keep her memory alive for the rest of our lives.
Thank you for capturing very painful, but loving moments of my girls and the final moments with my beloved son.
Getting our legacy gift package has meant so much to us.

It was so precious to see our family looking happy and healthy, and for a brief moment - normal.
With Love and Care,
Soulumination
We are so grateful to have these lasting memories through Soulumination.
These photos are priceless - admittedly they capture her not at her best, but to have photos of our everyday lives was so important. The photos help complete the picture of her life.
The images mean more than we can say. The photos and keepsakes are something I will always treasure.
We got to feel like a typical family! I didn't have to explain or justify why he has all this equipment. This experience was such a gift.
