At a time when gender equality, women’s rights, and LGBTQIA+ rights are under attack and society is grappling with questions around masculinity, the world is searching for answers to the question of how to call men and boys in to gender equality efforts.
MenEngage Alliance is an international community of more than 1,100 members facilitating gender–transformative change among men and boys for gender equality, women's rights, LGBTQIA+ rights and social justice for all... every day, and in different contexts around the world.
MenEngage members have promising practices from working with men and boys in various settings, from schools to workplaces, with political leaders and decision makers, through service delivery for health and education.
#HowToTalkWithMen is a campaign to elevate this collective expertise and experience, and highlight the diverse, positive, everyday stories of change among men and boys that often go unheard–from across MenEngage Alliance and beyond.

“What can I share for a strong message for the campaign?”
Think of a practical tip on HOW you open up gender transformative conversations with men and boys
Think of a specific time when you put this tip into practice and sparked transformation
Reflect on how that moment came about. How did them men/boys engage? What changed?
Re-state the question in your response. An example format could look like:
“How to talk with men about ______? Well, one way to begin opening up conversations with men about gender justice is by ______. I saw this working in practice in a workshop when _____.”
