About the Project:
Elementary School:
This portion of the project involves the construction of 2 separate additions (totaling 28,000 SF) with the gymnasium space of the addition being constructed as a storm shelter space (8,500 SF). The additions are designed for classrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, loading dock and a secure front entry. This project also includes extensive interior renovations to the classrooms, storage spaces, media center, cafeteria/kitchen reconfigurations, exterior window replacements, bathroom upgrades, & mechanical and electrical system upgrades. The exterior will include the reconstruction of the parking lots, playground spaces, along with other exterior site improvements. This is designed to improve bus and parent drop-off zones and parking areas are being modified to improve safety for students and minimize traffic impacts to the neighborhood.
High School:
This portion of the project involves the construction of a new secured front entry configuration that will incorporate a new reception area as well as office spaces.
