Fifth grade and first grade students teamed up for Read Across America Week.
Otselic Valley students recently celebrated Read Across America Week with a special Buddy Reading activity that brought younger and older students together through books.
Mrs. Brown’s fifth grade students joined Mrs. Stoklosa’s first grade class to spend time reading and sharing stories. Students enjoyed partnering with their reading buddies and spending time together in the classroom.
Activities like Buddy Reading help build a love of reading while creating meaningful connections between students across grade levels.
