Nusfjord Village & Resort THE ISLOATED FISHERMAN'S CABIN

JOURNEY INTO A WORLD OF SERENITY AND ADVENTURE IN THE ISOLATED FISHERMAN'S CABIN

March 1, 2025... If you live in an urban environment, escaping the noise and hustle of every day is just not possible, you are inundated with distractions at every turn. How can you find some peace? Nusfjord Village & Resort in Norway's Lofoten archipelago offers the new Isolated Fisherman Cabin, a cozy 2-bedroom rustic retreat where you can immerse yourself in the Arctic wilderness surrounded by untamed nature. Here dramatic rocky peaks rise from sea, immense eagles soar, and the 76 days of midnight sun between May and July gives life a new dimension. Located a 10 minute RIB boat ride from the resort you will be on your own private and secluded island of Straumøya.

Isolated Fisherman's Cabin

The Isolated Fisherman’s Cabin is a haven for mindfulness and inspiration. It’s a place to begin to write the novel you always dreamed about, take photographs of landscapes in extraordinary light, paint watercolors on the shore, or cast your fishing rod to the sea. Sitting on your patio you can spy eagles as they soar and dive for their dinner, and as the evening cools, a firepit on your terrace will take the chill off the night -- or you can simply do nothing.

Yes, you are on an isolated island – yes, you can see your neighbors across the water on their own private island, but they won’t be coming to ask you for a cup of sugar because they can only get to you by boat -- but they won’t -- because they too want to be isolated. This is a place where you can truly disconnect from the madness and reconnect with yourself, mother nature and your traveling companion.

Tucked away in Nusfjord's stunning landscapes, the isolated cabin provides excellent conditions for an immersive quiet escape. Embracing the traditional Norwegian lifestyle, this stay is not just an accommodation but rather a journey into a world of serenity and adventure.

The absence of an internet connection and limited electricity allows guests to reconnect with nature, but also with oneself.

Imagine waking up to breathtaking views, spending days hiking the surrounding area and evenings under the midnight sun.

THE CABIN

Here guests will find a private cabin with two bedrooms, comfortable living room with a fireplace, a modern bath, well equipped kitchen and an inviting outdoor terrace with a firepit. Through each window you'll be offered a breathtaking view. Quiet, serene and amazing – the unspoiled wilderness of the area surrounding the cabin is the perfect place to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with yourself.

A minimum two night stay includes transportation to and from the cabin by RIB from Nusfjord. An arrival pack full of a lovely assortment of local goods awaits guests with a selection of drinks, and snacks. The cabin also includes plush towels and robes, slippers, and toiletries from Sprekenhus.

Guests staying at The Isolated Fisherman are responsible for preparing their own meals and stocking up on all their favorite groceries and ingredients prior to arrival so no matter what mood you’re in, you can always find just what you’re craving. Nothing says comfort like a home-cooked meal and with a well-equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, and all the necessary kitchen equipment, you can easily whip up delicious meals.

Guests will also find tour maps with suggested hiking trips, binoculars, SUP Boards, a small fishing boat, fishing rods, books and board games for entertainment – everything you need to truly disconnect and making you forget all about the lack of the internet.
