Clipped In for Life 2025 Impact Report

Clipped In for Life believes a lifelong connection to bicycles improves lives and strengthens communities.

We design events that motivate and inspire people who have already integrated bikes into their lives, and we make big impacts in our community by designing youth cycling programs that take place at school, after school, and on break. Kids in our programs build confidence, perseverance, and independence by discovering that riding a bike is a life-long adventure full of excitement, freedom, perspective, purpose, friendships, and belonging.

Clipped In for Life programs challenge mental and physical abilities in a way that is welcoming and encouraging without being overwhelming. Not only do our bicycle races welcome riders and volunteers of all levels and stages of life who seek adventure, achievement and connection, the races help generate funds to sustain our youth programs.

Our vision is to bring cycling from the fringe to the forefront of our culture by designing a clear pathway from learning to ride, to riding for life.

2025 was a year of development and progress for Clipped In for Life. While continuing to produce our high quality events that serve the riding community, we completed our first full year of Grip Academy, developed more youth coaches, launched a new summer program and expanded Grip Academy to four days a week.

Key Moments in 2025

March 2025 – Produced the first Family Bike Rodeo event to kick off Grip Academy's new location at the Folsom Rodeo grounds, and provide an engaging free family event.

April 2025 – Launched Monday Night Fundracing, a pay-what-you-can race series with fixed costs covered by sponsor Edward Jones Financial Advisor, Tom Campeau. This concept combined with the short track format, created a no barrier to entry for new riders and parents to try out racing, and an opportunity for "Clipped In" riders to have fun and donate to the growth of our sport.

Launched our first Summer Ride Camp program, offering a week of big adventure and discovery by bike for 2nd thru 8th grade.

March - October 2025 – Completed our first full year of Grip Academy, expanding to four days a week, finding a new home at the Folsom Rodeo Arena, and expanding to 127 unique kids enrolled in the program.
