STAAR SCORES ARE NOW AVAILBLE
As you know, our students took the STAAR tests this spring. The STAAR 3-8 results are now available in the Parent Self Serve on TEAMS or by logging in to the TEA Family Portal at www.texasassessment.gov. The STAAR is one of many ways to measure student learning. The information at www.texasassessment.gov provides a detailed breakdown in each subject, identifying your child’s strengths as well as areas where they may need additional support. Parents have shared that seeing which questions their child got right and wrong has been the most useful. You will also see easy-to-use resources to help your child focus on the skills they most need help with.
Como ustedes saben, nuestros estudiantes tomaron las pruebas STAAR esta primavera. Los resultados de STAAR 3-8 de su hijo ahora estan disponibles en el Autoservicio para Padres en TEAMS (Parent Self Serve) o iniciando sesión en Portal para la Familia en www.texasassessment.gov. La información adjunta le ayudará a acceder a los resultados de su estudiante. El STAAR es una de las muchas formas de medir el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. La información en www.texasassessment.gov le proporciona un desglose detallado en cada materia, identificando las fortalezas de su hijo, así como las áreas donde puede necesitar apoyo adicional. ATHLETICS
The coaches will have complete details and answer any questions at registration. Here are a few highlights for our 7th and 8th grade athletes.
PHYSICALS - all athletes must have a notarized physical before the first day of school in order to participate in football and volleyball.
All athletes in competition sports (not PE) will need to complete the athletic forms in preparation for UIL sports. Please take the time to complete these forms
In order to compete, athletes must pass all classes with a 70 or higher each six weeks.
