Week 8 - Patterns

As the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, Christmas cheer spreads its warm magic across the world. I designed these patterns, drawing inspiration from cozy things like holiday wrapping paper and festive pajamas.

Week 7 - Logos & Portraits

A couple of varieties of logos for sailing tour boats: Sea La Vie & Starlit Sails.

A sort of "Self-Portrait", one of my best friends is my Blue Nose Pitbull, Indi. She's always so sweet and loving, especially when I'm about to go out and model in some fancy attire. This is a nod to Marilyn Monroe's "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" and the popular phrase: Dogs are man's best friend.

Week 6 - Playing with Brushes

I made two sunflower brushes, I'm still learning how to make shapes more organic.

I am working on a big project on the Philippines for a different class and so I decided to make a map on the capital, Manila, the nations colors. This map is a work in progress. I plan to add more subtle details: highways in the surrounding areas, more boats, ferry lines, Happyland, and cute features in areas like the parks. I also plan to add the sun logo from the flag and a compass rose.

Week 5 - Intro to Adobe Illustrator

I have never used Adobe Illustrator before these projects so this was a fun challenge for sure.

Week 4 - Restoration & Double Exposure

Symbolizing strength of mind and resilience, I created this double exposure using a stock image of a mountain peak from Unsplash.com and a side portrait of my fiancé.

Photo Restoration and Coloration: Removing any wrinkles and unwanted marks; then painting in color and blending it into the original image.

Week 3 - Composites & Techniques

"PITBULLS IN SPACE" - A composite image built from 11 individual adobe stock images, photoshopping small details (alien's fingers over the treats, yellow tennis ball streaks to go in front of the dog but behind the alien), adjusting the exposure and shadows in each image for appropriate depth, and then of course adding a Camera Raw Filter over it all to polish it up and blend it into a Fun Filled Scene.

Edit using the Sky Replacement Tool and adding AI generated birds and a boat, then adding a Camera Raw Filter to bring out the hues of the sunset and blend everything together more.

Clean Edit using the Eraser Tool and then straightening it all out and AI generating the lost pixels along the boarder.

Week 2 - Photoshop Editing Skills

Ediz Hook in Port Angeles, WA. Straightening the horizon and adding a Camera Raw Filter to bring out the textures and colors.

Simple edit using a curves adjustment layer.
