Rydym wedi bod yn ffodus iawn eleni i fod yn rhan o prosiect wyau Fferm Cymunedol Abertawe yn gofalu am wyau ac yn dysgu am cylch bywyd y cyw iar. Mae'r plant wedi mwynhau gweld yr wyau yn deor ac yn gwylio'r cywion yn datblygu ac yn tyfu yn stod yr wythnos. / We've been fortunate this year to be a part of Swansea Community's farm incubator project looking after the eggs and learning about the life cycle of the chicken. The children have enjoyed seeing the eggs hatch and watching the chicks develop and grow during the week.

Cafodd disgyblion Blynyddoedd 1, 2 a 3 y cyfle i gymryd rhan mewn treial blasu bwyd brawychus lle cawsant flasu bwydydd annymunol o bob cwr o'r byd. Mwynhaodd y plant flasu gwahanol fwydydd i ennill sêr. Roeddent wrth eu bodd eu bod wedi curo'r athrawon yn yr heriau. / Pupils in Years 1, 2 and 3 had the opportunity to take part in a bushtucker trial where they got to taste unsavoury foods from around the world. The children enjoyed tasting verious foods to win stars. They were over the moon that they beat the teachers in the challenges.

Mae Blwyddyn 2 wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed i adeiladu eu gwybodaeth o dablau 2, 5 a 10 trwy ddefnyddio grid lluosi a cheisio curo eu hamser ar 'Taro'r botwm'. / Year 2 have been working hard to build their knowledge of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables by using a multiplication grid and trying to beat their time on 'Hit the button'.
Mae Blwyddyn 2 wedi mwynhau eu sesiynau SBLAT lle maen nhw wedi dilyn gwahanol feini prawf llwyddiant i ddod o hyd i eilrifau ac odrifau, lluosrifau o 2, 5 a 10, a rhifau uwchben ac islaw rhifau penodol. / Year 2 have enjoyed their SPLAT sessions where they've followed different success criteria to find even and odd numbers, multiples of 2, 5 and 10, and numbers above and below certain numbers.

Gwnaethom dasg trefu rhifau pan wnaeth yr Urdd ymweld a ni. Roedd rhaid rhedeg i chwilio am y rhifau a defnyddio sgiliau meddwl i'w trefnu. / We had the task of organising numbers up to 30 by running to collect the numbers before using our thinking skills to arrange them.
Roedd yn dipyn o hwyl i ddysgu am siapiau 2D wrth ddefnyddio rhaffiau. Roedd y her! / We enjoyed using ropes to form 2D shapes. It was a difficult task but we did well.

Mae’r gweithgareddau syml hyn yn meithrin dealltwriaeth naturiol o ffracsiynau ac yn annog chwilfrydedd mathemategol mewn ffordd hwyliog ac ystyrlon. / The children have enjoyed experimenting with fractions when they have the opportunity to see them in practice in everyday situations, such as dividing shapes, foods and numbers. By dividing a drink into halves or quarters, or by cutting fruit and cakes into equal pieces, the idea of "a part of a whole" becomes much more tangible to them. When playing with numbers, they can compare fractions, combine parts to create a whole, or work out how much is left after using a part of something. These simple activities foster a natural understanding of fractions and encourage mathematical curiosity in a fun and meaningful way.
Mae'r plant wedi datblygu eu dealltwriaeth o bwysau a mesur drwy ddefnyddio offer ansafonol mewn gweithgareddau ymarferol ac hwyliog. Drwy bwyso gwrthrychau gan ddefnyddio blociau gwnaethant gymharu pa wrthrych oedd yn drymach neu’n ysgafnach mewn ffordd a oedd yn hawdd ei gweld a’i theimlo. Mae’r profiadau hyn hefyd wedi annog trafodaeth, cydweithio ac ymholi naturiol wrth iddynt archwilio’r byd o’u cwmpas. / The children have developed their understanding of weight and measurement by using non-standard equipment in practical and fun activities. By weighing objects using blocks they compared which object was heavier or lighter in a way that was easy to see and feel. It helped the children develop reasoning skills, make estimates, and develop an early understanding of mathematical concepts before moving on to standard units of measurement. These experiences have also encouraged discussion, collaboration and natural inquiry as they explore the world around them.
Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg / Science and Technology
Ar ddechrau'r thema, gofynnwyd i blant Blwyddyn 2 dynnu llun ac ysgrifennu enw eu hoff ffrwyth neu lysieuyn. Datblygodd hyn i ffurfio brawddeg lle'r oedd angen gramadeg ac atalnodi cywir. / At the beginning of the theme, pupils in Year 2 were asked to draw and write the name of their favourite fruit or vegetable. This developed into forming a sentence where correct grammar and punctuation was needed.
Gwnaethom arbrofi er mwyn gweld beth oedd yn digwydd pan oedd bara'n caei ei dostio. Gwnaethom rhagfynegi i weld beth fyddai'n digwydd i olwg, teimlad, lliw ac arogl y bara. Gwnaethom arbrofi'n ofalus gan drafod beth roeddem am gadw'r un peth a beth oeddwn am newid. / We experimented to learn about what happens when bread is toasted. We predicted what would happen to it's colour, look, smell and texture. We experimented carefully by discussing what we were going to change and keep the same.

Fe wnaeth bob un ohonom ddod mewn a rhywbeth sy'n golygu llawer i ni er mwyn ei ddangos i'r dosbarth a'i drafod. Roedd yn arbennig i glywed ein ffrindiau yn siarad. / We enjoyed bringing in a special object to discuss an show the class. It was interesting to hear our friends speak.
Cawsom fore arbennig yn mwynhau yr awyr iach a gwneud gweithgareddau gyda'r Urdd. / We had a wonderful and busy morning learning in the outdoors with Cian and Emma from the Urdd.

Diwrnod E-Ddiogelwch / E-Safety Day
Dathlodd y disgyblion Ddiwrnod E-ddiogelwch drwy gymryd rhan mewn gwersi a gweithgareddau a oedd yn pwysleisio pwysigrwydd cadw’n ddiogel ar-lein. Trafododd y plant ffyrdd o adnabod peryglon, gwneud penderfyniadau doeth a defnyddio’r rhyngrwyd yn gyfrifol. Roedd yn braf gweld pa mor angerddol yr oeddent yn cymryd rhan, gan ddangos dealltwriaeth gadarn o sut i fod yn ddiogel yn y byd digidol. / Pupils celebrated Safer Internet Day by engaging in lessons and activities that highlighted the importance of staying safe online. The children explored how to identify potential risks, make sensible decisions, and use the internet responsibly. It was great to see them participating so enthusiastically and showing a strong understanding of how to stay safe in the digital world.
Eisteddfod Ysgol / School Eisteddfod
Mwynheuodd y disgyblion gymryd rhan yn ein Eisteddfod flynyddol, gan ddathlu diwylliant a threftadaeth Cymru drwy ganu, adrodd a dawnsio. Roedd yn hyfryd gweld y plant yn perfformio gydag hyder ac ymroddiad, gan arddangos eu doniau mewn awyrgylch gynnes, gefnogol a chymunedol. Bu’r diwrnod yn llawn balchder, creadigrwydd ac ysbrydoliaeth i bawb a gymerodd ran. / Pupils thoroughly enjoyed taking part in our annual Eisteddfod, celebrating Welsh culture and heritage through singing, reciting and dancing. It was wonderful to see the children perform with confidence and enthusiasm, demonstrating their talents in such a warm and supportive community atmosphere. The day was filled with pride, creativity, and inspiration for everyone involved.
Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen / St Dwynwen's Day
Mwynhaodd y plant ddysgu am draddodiadau ar Ddiwrnod Santes Dwynwen. Dysgon nhw am stori bywyd Dwynwen. Roedd y plant wrth eu bodd yn gwisgo coch i symboleiddio cariad. / The children enjoyed discovering the traditions on St Dwynwen’s Day. They learnt about the story of Dwynwen's life. The children enjoyed wearing red to symbolise love.
Gwnaethom ddathlu Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen wrth wneud cardiau hyfryd i'r teulu. / We celebrated Saint Dwynwen's Day by making beautiful cards for the family.

Wythnos Ysbrydoli / Inspiration Week
Cafodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 4, 5 a 6 gyfle i gymryd rhan mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau yn seiliedig ar ein thema “Deyrnas Rhewllyd”. Mwynhaodd y plant fesur a chreu pengwiniaid maint go iawn, gan ddefnyddio eu sgiliau mathemategol mewn ffordd ymarferol a hwyliog. Llwyddodd y disgyblion hefyd i ysgrifennu darnau rhydd gan ddefnyddio lluniau o’r Arctig, gan gynhyrchu paragraffau disgrifiadol llawn dychymyg ac iaith fywiog. / Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 had the opportunity to take part in a range of activities linked to our theme, “Frozen Kingdom.” The children enjoyed measuring and creating life-sized penguins, using their maths skills in a fun and practical way. They also produced independent writing inspired by images of the Arctic, creating descriptive paragraphs full of imagination and rich vocabulary.

Mwynhaodd y plant ddysgu am lwyau caru ar Ddiwrnod Santes Dwynwen. Gwnaeth y plant ddysgu am y symbolau gwahanol ar y llwyau caru, cyn mynd ati i ddylunio llwy garu eu hunain. / The children enjoyed learning about love spoons on St Dwynwen’s Day. They learned about the different symbols found on traditional love spoons before going on to design their own.
Gweithgareddau Ysgol Goed yn yr ardal allanol / Forest School Activities in the outdoor area.
Mwynheuodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 4, 5 a 6 sesiwn gyda’r Urdd, gan gymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau Ysgol Goed yn yr ardal allanol. Y sialens oedd creu lloches rhag y gwynt a’r glaw. Mwynhaodd y plant gydweithio fel tîm er mwyn llwyddo i greu eu llochesi. / Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a session with the Urdd, taking part in Forest School activities in the outdoor area. Their challenge was to build a shelter to protect them from the wind and rain. The children loved working together as a team to successfully create their shelters.
Diwrnod E-Diogelwch / E-Safety Day
Dathlodd y disgyblion Ddiwrnod E-ddiogelwch drwy gymryd rhan mewn gwersi a gweithgareddau yn canolbwyntio ar sut i gadw’n ddiogel ar-lein. Bu’r plant yn trafod sut i adnabod risgiau, gwneud dewisiadau doeth a defnyddio’r rhyngrwyd mewn ffordd gyfrifol. Roedd yn galonogol gweld y disgyblion yn cymryd rhan yn weithredol ac yn dangos dealltwriaeth glir o bwysigrwydd bod yn ddiogel yn y byd digidol. / Pupils celebrated Safer Internet Day by taking part in lessons and activities focused on staying safe online. The children discussed how to recognise risks, make sensible choices, and use the internet responsibly. It was encouraging to see them engaging so thoughtfully and showing a clear understanding of the importance of being safe in the digital world.

Cafodd pedwar aelod o Flwyddyn 6 gyfle i gynrychioli’r ysgol yn rownd sirol Cwis Dim Clem yn Nhŷ Tawe. Llwyddodd y disgyblion i ateb cwestiynau heriol am Gymru, ac fe wnaeth y tîm yn arbennig o dda. Da iawn iddynt! / Four members of Year 6 had the opportunity to represent the school in the county round of the “Cwis Dim Clem” at Tŷ Tawe. The pupils successfully answered challenging questions about Wales, and the team performed exceptionally well. Well done to them!
Dydd Miwsig Cymru / Welsh Music Day
Mwynheuodd y disgyblion ddathlu Dydd Miwsig Cymru drwy gymryd rhan mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau cerddorol ar draws yr ysgol. Cawsant gyfle i wrando ar gerddoriaeth Gymraeg gyfoes, canu gyda’i gilydd ac archwilio gwahanol offerynnau. Roedd yn wych gweld y plant yn dathlu cerddoriaeth Cymru gyda chymaint o frwdfrydedd ac egni. / Pupils across the school enjoyed celebrating Dydd Miwsig Cymru by taking part in a range of music‑based activities. They had the opportunity to listen to contemporary Welsh music, sing together, and explore different instruments. It was wonderful to see the children celebrating Welsh music with such enthusiasm and energy.
Eisteddfod Ysgol / School Eisteddfod
Mwynheuodd y disgyblion gymryd rhan yn ein Eisteddfod Ysgol flynyddol, gan ddathlu diwylliant a threftadaeth Cymru drwy ganu, adrodd, dawnsio ac arddangos eu gwaith creadigol. Roedd yn wych gweld y plant yn perfformio gyda hyder ac angerdd, ac yn dangos eu doniau mewn awyrgylch gynnes a chymunedol. Roedd y diwrnod yn llawn balchder ac ysbrydoliaeth i bawb. / Pupils across the school took part in our annual Eisteddfod, celebrating Welsh culture through music, poetry, art, and performance. The children showcased their talents with great confidence and enthusiasm, whether reciting, singing, dancing, or presenting their creative work. It was a wonderful occasion that brought the whole school community together to celebrate creativity and Welsh heritage.
Yr Eisteddfod Gylch
Cymerodd nifer o’n disgyblion ran yn Eisteddfod y Cylch yr hanner tymor yma, gan gystadlu mewn dawnsio, canu a llefaru. Roedd yn bleser gweld y plant yn perfformio gyda hyder ac angerdd, gan ddangos eu doniau creadigol mewn awyrgylch gynnes a chefnogol. Rydym yn falch iawn o bob un ohonynt am eu hymdrechion a’u hymroddiad. / Several of our pupils took part in the local Area Eisteddfod this half term, competing in dance, singing and recitation. It was wonderful to see the children perform with confidence and enthusiasm, showcasing their creative talents in such a warm and supportive atmosphere. We are very proud of each and every one of them for their effort and dedication.
Yr Wythnos Wyddoniaeth / Science Week
Mwynheuodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 4, 5 a 6 gymryd rhan mewn arbrawf gwyddonol cyffrous yn seiliedig ar ein thema Teyrnas Rhewllyd yn ystod Wythnos Wyddoniaeth. Bu’r plant yn archwilio syniadau gwyddonol, yn cynnal arbrofion ac yn gwerthuso’r canlyniadau’n ofalus. Roedd yn wych gweld y disgyblion yn defnyddio sgiliau ymchwilio ac yn dangos brwdfrydedd tuag at wyddoniaeth drwy gydol y broses. / Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed taking part in an exciting science experiment linked to our Frozen Kingdom theme during Science Week. The children explored scientific ideas, carried out investigations, and carefully evaluated their results. It was wonderful to see them using their enquiry skills and showing such enthusiasm for science throughout the activity.
Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Menywod a Merched Mewn Gwyddoniaeth / International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Mae Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Menywod a Merched mewn Gwyddoniaeth, a ddathlwyd ar Chwefror 11eg, yn ddigwyddiad byd-eang a gynlluniwyd i ddathlu gwyddonwyr benywaidd ac annog mwy o ferched i ddilyn gyrfaoedd mewn STEM (Gwyddoniaeth, Technoleg, Peirianneg a Mathemateg). Mae'n tynnu sylw at y ffaith bod menywod yn arloeswyr gwych mewn gwyddoniaeth ac yn sicrhau bod gan bawb gyfleoedd cyfartal i archwilio ac arloesi. /International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on February 11th, is a global event designed to celebrate female scientists and encourage more girls to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It highlights that women are brilliant trailblazers in science and ensures everyone has equal opportunities to explore and innovate.
Cystadleuaeth Chwaraeon / Sport competitions
Cymerodd disgyblion o wahanol flynyddoedd ran mewn cystadlaethau pêl‑droed, rygbi a phêl‑rwyd y tymor hwn, gan gynrychioli’r ysgol gyda balchder ac ysbryd tîm rhagorol. Bu’r plant yn gweithio’n galed drwy bob gêm, yn dangos sgiliau cadarn ac yn cefnogi ei gilydd mewn awyrgylch gadarnhaol a chyfeillgar. Roedd yn wych gweld eu brwdfrydedd a’u hymroddiad wrth gystadlu mewn tri o’n hoff chwaraeon tîm. / Pupils from various year groups took part in football, rugby and netball competitions this term, proudly representing the school with excellent teamwork and determination. The children worked hard throughout each match, showing strong skills and supporting one another in a positive and friendly atmosphere. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and commitment while competing in three of our favourite team sports.

Mwynhaodd y Dewiniaid Digidol sesiwn wybodus o hyfforddiant podlediadau gan Marci G. Llwyddodd y criw i sefydlu sianel Podlediadau Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Tirdeunaw, ac fe ddefnyddiodd y grŵp amrywiaeth o dechnolegau sy’n cael eu defnyddio i greu podlediad yn llwyddiannus. / The Dewiniaid Digidol enjoyed an informative podcast‑creation training session led by Marci G. The group successfully set up the Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Tirdeunaw Podcast Channel and used a range of technologies involved in producing a podcast.
Sesiwn Barddoni gydag Aneirin Karadog. / Poetry session with Aneirin Karadog.
Mwynhaodd y plant yn fawr iawn, dysgu am rapio gyda’r bardd Aneirin Karadog. Edrychon nhw ar sut i greu eu cerddi rap eu hunain, gan chwarae gyda rhythm a geiriau sy’n odli — yn enwedig geiriau oedd yn odli gyda’u henwau eu hunain. Roedd yn sesiwn hwyliog ac ysbrydoledig. Cafodd bawb y cyfle i fynegi eu hunain drwy gerddoriaeth a barddoniaeth. / The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about rapping with the poet Aneirin Karadog. They explored how rap works, played with rhythm, and experimented with rhyming patterns—especially using words that rhyme with their own names. It was a fun, creative session that helped them build confidence in expressing themselves through poetry and performance.
Hyfedredd Beicio Blwyddyn 6 / Year 6 Cycling Proficiency
Cafodd grŵp o ddisgyblion Blwyddyn 6 wythnos arbennig yn dysgu am ddiogelwch tra’n beicio ar yr heol. Cafodd y plant gyfle i ddysgu sut i gadw’n ddiogel a pha arwyddion sydd angen eu defnyddio wrth feicio ar y ffordd. Da iawn i bob un ar gyrraedd Lefel 2! / A group of Year 6 pupils enjoyed a special week learning about road safety while cycling. The children had the opportunity to learn how to stay safe and which signs they need to use when cycling on the road. Well done to all of them for achieving Level 2!
Nofio Blwyddyn 5 / Year 5 Swimming lessons
Mwynheuodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 5 eu gwersi nofio y tymor hwn, gan weithio’n galed i ddatblygu eu sgiliau yn y dŵr. Cawsant gyfle i ymarfer technegau pwysig megis arnofio, troedio dŵr a nofio ar draws y pwll gyda hyder cynyddol. Roedd yn bleser gweld y plant yn dangos dyfalbarhad ac ymroddiad wrth wella eu hyder a’u gallu yn y dŵr. / Year 5 pupils enjoyed their swimming lessons this term, working hard to develop their skills in the water. They had the opportunity to practise key techniques such as floating, treading water, and swimming across the pool with growing confidence. It was wonderful to see the children showing determination and enthusiasm as they improved their confidence and ability in the water.

Mwynheuodd y disgyblion ddathlu Dydd y Llyfr drwy gymryd rhan mewn ystod o weithgareddau darllen a llenyddol ar draws yr ysgol. Daeth y plant i’r ysgol wedi’u gwisgo fel eu cymeriadau hoff o lyfrau, gan greu awyrgylch lliwgar a chreadigol. Cawsant gyfle i rannu straeon, darllen gyda’u ffrindiau a chymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau hwyliog yn seiliedig ar lyfrau. Roedd yn ddiwrnod arbennig a llawn brwdfrydedd tuag at ddarllen. / Pupils enjoyed celebrating World Book Day by taking part in a range of reading and literacy activities across the school. The children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, creating a colourful and imaginative atmosphere. They had the opportunity to share stories, read with friends, and take part in fun, book‑themed activities. It was a wonderful day filled with excitement and a love of reading.

Mwynheuodd y disgyblion ddathlu Diwrnod y Trwynau Coch drwy wisgo coch i’r ysgol ac ymgymryd â gweithgareddau hwyliog i godi ymwybyddiaeth ac arian ar gyfer elusennau. Roedd yr ysgol yn llawn lliw ac egni wrth i’r plant gymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau creadigol a thrafodaethau am bwysigrwydd helpu eraill. Diwrnod llawn hwyl ac ysbryd cymunedol oedd hi i bawb. / Pupils enjoyed celebrating Red Nose Day by coming to school dressed in red and taking part in fun activities to raise awareness and funds for charity. The school was filled with colour and energy as the children joined in creative tasks and discussions about the importance of helping others. It was a lively and uplifting day for everyone.

I hyrwyddo wythnos iechyd meddwl plant, cymerodd y plant ran mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau i'w helpu i ymlacio. / To promote children's mental health week the children took part in a variety of activities to help them relax.
CYNGOR ENFYS 🌈
Roedd y gwasanaeth gan Gyngor Enfys ar gyfer ‘Wythnos Iechyd Meddwl Plant’ yn un hyfryd, gan ledaenu neges o garedigrwydd a chyfeillgarwch. Cyfrannodd pob aelod yn frwdfrydig, a chyflwynodd pawb eu llinellau yn hyderus, yn glir ac yn gywir. / The assembly by the Rainbow Council for 'Children's Mental Health Week' was a wonderful one, spreading a message of kindness and friendship. Every member contributed enthusiastically, and everyone delivered their lines confidently, clearly and correctly.

Gwasanaeth gwych gan y Cyngor Ysgol ar 'Ddiwrnod y Llyfr 2026' yn rhannu'r neges 'Darllen am Hwyl!". Fe gyfrannodd bob aelod yn ystod y gwasanaeth a chyflwynodd pob un eu llinellau gyda rhuglder a chywirdeb. /A wonderful assembly by the School Council on 'World Book Day' to promote the message 'Reading is Fun'. Each member took part and delivered their lines with fluency and accuracy.
