The purpose of creating this automatic quotation system is to provide clients with a more convenient way to trade and to easily find out the chance of arbitrage.
In recent years, more and more people in Taiwan started to trade convertible bonds (CB). However, the information that we have at Yuanta Securities is only the quoted prices and the portfolio of companies. It is hard for our clients to find all the exchange conditions and quickly calculate the potential profit/ loss. Therefore, I created this Excel file that includes all the information that our clients might need to improve their trading quality.
In this Excel file, you can see the trading volume, current stock price, CB's price, and other exchange conditions of CB. Then, I created the columns (in the red box down below) here to calculate the profitability of purchasing the CB and the future chance of arbitrage.
