2025 Global exchange Project for teachers

Pathways to Cross-Cultural Understanding

The Global Exchange Project for Teachers (GEPT) is a collaborative initiative between the Jeonbuk State Office of Education and Pathways to Cross-Cultural Understanding (PCCU), designed to promote creativity, global competence, and multicultural understanding among educators. In 2025, GEPT launched its pilot program with two art teachers, Nicolette Hernke and Gahwi Han. Through this pilot, the teachers exchanged lesson plan ideas and implemented each other’s approaches in their own classrooms, creating a meaningful cross-cultural teaching experience. Below, you can explore the results of this cross-cultural teaching exchange.
