Summer Solstice Drum Circle
Join us in sacred circle as we celebrate the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year and a powerful turning point in the Earth's journey around the Sun. Across cultures and traditions, the solstice has been honored as a time of abundance, gratitude, illumination, and deep connection with the living world. Together, we will gather in community around the medicine wheel, surrounded by the beauty of nature, to honor the light within and around us. Through the ancient practice of sacred drumming, we will connect with the heartbeat of Mother Earth, awaken our own inner rhythm, and enter a shared field of presence, healing, and celebration. No drumming experience is needed. Bring a drum if you have one, or simply bring your open heart. Through rhythm, song, silence, and intention, we will celebrate the gifts of this season, offer gratitude for the path behind us, and welcome the unfolding possibilities of the months ahead.
Sacred Drumming
Community drumming is an ancient practice that welcomes all into a deeper inner connection and outward unity. Drumming is the mother tongue of humanity - spoken and understood. Rhythm is truly a universal language known to everyone - even the youngest children.
This will be a lively, fun, family friendly event where everyone is free to express their aliveness through their collaboration and entrainment into the rhythmic beat of Gaia’s Heart.
People at every level are invited to come together to share their rhythmical spirit in both celebration of life and just have fun.
All manner of smiles, drums and percussion instruments are very welcomed - as are your voices in songs and chanting.
