Grandparent's/VIP Days at JB
We are excited to celebrate and welcome Grandparents/VIPs to visit JB Stephens! This year, we are inviting our guests in for lunch. We will be serving chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans a dinner roll and lemonade. The cost per guest will be $5.00. Guests MUST PREPAY in advance and RSVP using the link below. Due to capacity, we are limiting our guest to 4 per student. Your child will be bringing an envelope home for money to send back to school. Cash or checks will be accepted. Please make checks out to GC Food Service.

Chocolate Bar Fundraiser
JB's favorite fundraiser is up and running! World's Finest Chocolate Bars will be available (by the box) for sale! This is one of our most profitable fundraisers! The proceeds from these sales go to field trips, student supplies, classroom supplies, student experiences (silly safari) and so much more! See below for more information. School Dismissal Manager
School Dismissal Manager is now LIVE! Please check your email for login and set up directions. As of September 4th, we will only utilize this APP for dismissal changes. Please call the front office if you did not receive your login email or you need assistance. 317-462-4491.
JB Stephens will be utilizing a new system for changes in student's daily after school transportation. We will use the APP School Dismissal Manager (SDM). This online platform is dependable, easy to use, and will work as a communication tool between parents and the school on any after-school transportation changes.
IPADS
Roll out of student iPads has been a bit delayed this year. Kindergarten students are still waiting for their cases before we will hand them out. This year, student iPads will be turned off from the hours of 7:00pm-6:00am, as they are not needed for instructional purposes during this time. Please be sure and charge iPads each night and limit use of them for non-school purposes. Thanks for your help!
J.B WAY
Our JB Way is our expectations of students. We expect JB Cougars to be Respectful, Responsible and Kind! When we "catch" students following the JB Way, they are recognized by earning a Cougar Buck. Students also earn a Cougar Buck each day they are at school. They can then cash those bucks in for small prizes and fun coupons. Big thanks to our PTO for sponsoring the prizes!
Breakfast
Breakfast starts at 7:30am. If your student is needing to eat breakfast at school, please be sure and have them here right at 7:30am. Our instructional day starts at 7:45am and we want to be sure students are in classes and learning. Thanks!

Snacks
Each classroom at JB has a designated snack time to help our students stay fueled for the school day! Please send in a healthy snack with your child each day. You can also send in bulk items to share with the class, we are always appreciative of donations.

JBS School Hours
- Doors Open: 7:30am
- Tardy Bell: 7:45am
- Breakfast (optional/paid): 7:30am-7:45am (if your child is eating breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school by 7:30am, so they have plenty of time to eat)
- Dismissal: 2:10pm
Transportation
Please be sure and download the Ride 360 app. Through the app, you will be able to see your bus stop location, times, as well as see the bus location on the map through GPS. Click below for directions on how to do this. This app will go live around August 14, as it takes some time to get the bus routes in sync.
Volunteer Form
If you're interested in volunteering this school year, attending field trips, etc, all volunteers must complete a Volunteer Profile application, found by clicking here, before volunteering. This form must be completed each school year. We look forward to having you at JB!
