A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

As we wrap up the 2025–26 school year, our hearts are filled with as much pride and joy as yours. Reflecting on these past few months, we are reminded of the countless incredible moments, milestones, and breakthroughs created by your amazing students. From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, every building and every grade has been filled with powerful examples of our students learning, growing, and succeeding. We saw it in action through meaningful community service projects and fundraisers, inspiring Girls on the Run events, and our stunning concerts and stage performances. Our students shined brightly in the classroom as well, earning Academic Excellence Awards, exploring practical lessons in Dollars and Sense, diving into Connect Academy experiences, and absolutely crushing CAPP Chemistry to earn 10 college credits. None of this would be possible without the strong partnership between our families and our dedicated staff. We are incredibly grateful for our educators, who love what they do and deeply believe in the opportunity we have each day to make a lasting impact. Thank you for your trust, your support, and for being a vital part of this journey. To our families of graduating seniors: THANK YOU for being incredible partners throughout this journey! You’ve left a lasting legacy, and we are so grateful for all you’ve contributed to our school community. Please know that no matter where the future takes you, you will always be a part of our 1Warrior family. To our returning families: Enjoy the summer! Make memories, soak in the little moments, and cherish the time with your “babies,” because it truly goes by faster than we realize. Rest, recharge, and we will see you back for an amazing 2026–27 school year!

Chromebook Information

As we head into summer, many students will be spending more time online. Ahead of the break, I want to share a quick update regarding your child’s school-issued devices and digital safety. During the school year, our district protects students using a multi-layered security system—including internet filters, network firewalls, and in-person supervision by teachers. When school devices leave our buildings for the summer, some of these protective layers are no longer present. While our strict internet filtering remains 100% active on school devices wherever they connect to Wi-Fi, no filter is foolproof. Without building-level firewalls and face-to-face staff supervision, we rely on your proactive partnership to help monitor for safe and appropriate use.  Please partner with us this summer by keeping an eye on your child’s device usage. Quick Summer Tech Tips

  • The Living Room Rule: Have children use devices in common family areas where you can observe content and use.
  • Set a Device Bedtime: Collect all devices at a central charging station overnight to protect sleep schedules.
  • Keep Talking: Ask your kids to show you their favorite games or videos to stay connected to their digital world.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students safe online. Have a wonderful summer!

Beautiful choir performance and a special farewell to our seniors

Lunch Warriors

To those families with graduating seniors, CONGRATULATIONS! It is that time of year where we issue refunds to any graduating seniors, without siblings, that have a food service balance remaining in their account. Before issuing your check, we would like to inform you of an opportunity to support our families in need. You can choose to donate the remaining balance of your student’s account to the Lunch Warrior program by completing the lunch balance donation form. Parents, staff, and community members can make donations to a particular school or as a general donation to the District, which will allow all funds to be used where they are most needed. Any and all donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Jamie Gleeson at 262.971.1819.
