Detectifs Dysgu

The Learning Detectives play a crucial role in promoting the use of Welsh throughout the school. These dedicated students actively observe lessons and interactions around the school to ensure teachers and staff use Cymraeg. They work to encourage using Cymraeg in daily communication, both inside and outside the classroom. The Learning Detectives also recognize and celebrate the efforts of staff who incorporate Cymraeg the most into their lessons, awarding those who lead the way in creating a bilingual environment for all. Their commitment helps foster a positive, Welsh-speaking atmosphere that supports the school's language learning goals.

Cymraeg 'Cheat Sheet'

Teachers in all classrooms have a Croesy Cymraeg 'Cheat Sheet' on their desks or walls. These were designed to support teachers using Cymraeg in their daily lessons. We also have posters in all our offices highlighting our Cymraeg @ Croesy expectations.

Eisteddfod 2025

This year we celebrated a successful school Eisteddfod, filled with creativity, talent, and a strong sense of Cymreictod and pride. Pupils from years 7-11 participated in competitions showcasing their incredible talent on and off stage. Huge 'da iawn' to everyone who participated and to Tŷ Glyndwr, our winners!

Cluster Eisteddfod 2025

Ameila and Mtailda from the Cymdeithas Cymraeg Croesy, along with other Croesy pupils, attended the Cluster Eisteddfod. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the talent within the cluster.

Newyddion

Recently, some members of the Cymdeithas Cymraeg Croesyceiliog completed a learning walk. The focus of the learning walk was to highlight our bilingualism strengths and weaknesses and set targets for the spring term. This is what they found, soon we will present this to the Governors.
