PG&E Venting Natural Gas as Part of Valve Replacement Work on Bayshore, 1/31 & 2/1

You've probably noticed that Bayshore has been quite busy with construction work as of late. One of the projects involves PG&E crews replacing a handful of valves on Line 101. As part of this work, PG&E crews will be venting natural gas today, 1/31, near Bayshore and Geneva. This venting will start at approximately 5 PM and last up to an hour. While the actual venting will not take long, PG&E's valve replacement work will run through Saturday, 2/1, with a chance of lingering odor in the air.

In the area centered on 751 Airport Blvd. and Armour Ave in So. San Francisco, PG&E crews will be using air movers as part of the safety components related to the work happening at Bayshore and Geneva in Brisbane. This will also create a noticeable odor in the area, with work following the same timeline - starting at 5 PM on 1/31, and lasting through Saturday, 2/1.
