This commendation, awarded for fiscal year 2023-2024, reaffirms the department's unwavering commitment to transparency, innovation, and fiscal responsibility.
Lake Elsinore's Administrative Services Department has consistently demonstrated unparalleled proficiency in budgetary management, earning this esteemed recognition year after year. This year, the team was lead by Domenico Piazza, Fiscal Officer. Domenico Piazza's meticulous oversight and strategic guidance upheld the department's legacy of excellence and has propelled it to new levels of fiscal achievement. The department's dedication has set a high standard within the city and serves as a shining example statewide.
The Operating Budget Excellence Award evaluates various facets of budget documentation to assess the effectiveness and clarity of financial reporting. Lake Elsinore's budgetary documents excelled in all categories outlined by the CSMFO, earning it a perfect score of 100.

Lake Elsinore Lake Watch
Based on recent lab results from lake water sampling and guidance from the California State Water Board, the City of Lake Elsinore is announcing that current levels of toxins from algae warrant the posting of a “Caution” advisory. Under this advisory, and per the CA State Water Resources Control Board, people may engage in all forms of recreation, including swimming, boating, and fishing. People are advised to stay away from any remaining visible algae, to not drink lake water, and to continue to keep pets out of the water. Have fun and be safe on the lake!

Energy Savings Assistance Program
The Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program is designed to help you conserve energy and save money. Income-qualified Southern California Edison customers may be eligible to receive energy-efficient appliances at no charge or a minimal charge. If you qualify, Southern California Edison will cover the costs of new energy-efficient appliances—including installation.
The online application only takes a few minutes to complete. Once you apply, Southern California Edison will determine your eligibility for the program. If eligible, you will be referred to an authorized contractor in your area.
The Dream Extreme Neighborhood Center is open daily for a variety of recreation classes including dance, tiny tots, early education, and fitness. This Center homes the City's first-ever Youth Room, equipped with big screens and games for all to socialize and enjoy. This approximately 5,000-square-foot facility is available for rent and is the perfect location for receptions, birthday parties, and meetings.
Our dedicated staff and class instructors provide safe, healthy and fun experiences for residents and visitors of all ages.
This facility provides public services in obtaining park shelter permits, Use of Facilities Applications for rentals, and the facilitation of field use by sports leagues.
