1. Global Shapers Impact Report
Our impact report, Engaging Young People in Decision-Making: Enabling Active Citizenship, is out! This report is the World Economic Forum's flagship publication advancing the global youth agenda. It draws on insights from nearly 4,000 Shapers in 459 diverse locations. Among many findings, we are thrilled to highlight that 83% of young people view the world as full of opportunities and 74% feel empowered to act upon issues that matter most to them.

2. Curatorship Elections
All hubs must elect a new Curator, Vice-Curator, and Impact Officer by 1 March 2025. Newly elected leaders will officially begin their mandates on 1 July 2025.
We invite all Hubs to organize a meeting in January to define your elections process, review our Elections Guide, identify candidates and attend an Open House to ask questions.

3. SHAPE Events

4. World Economic Forum Annual Meeting
The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 will bring together nearly 3,000 world leaders (including 50 Shapers) under the theme Collaboration for the Intelligent Age from 20 - 24 January in Davos. From global cooperation to jobs, climate action and artificial intelligence, your hub is sure to find a livestreamed session that ignites dialogue or a new hub project.

Impact Opportunities
5. Innovation Prize
We are excited to launch the second edition of the Innovation Prize in partnership with Accenture and the Global Alliance for YOUth. Hubs are invited to submit their initiatives and apply to win CHF 5,000-10,000 in funding and upskilling, mentorship and storytelling support. Applications open in February. We look forward to seeing your hub's projects next month!
6. World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers
The Forum's Technology Pioneers Community is celebrating 25 years of recognizing leading start-ups whose groundbreaking technology can improve the state of the world. Technology Pioneers participate in global multi-stakeholder initiatives, contributing to workshops, events, and high-level discussions throughout their 2 years in the community. If you lead an early-stage start-up with impactful, cutting-edge ideas, apply by 31 January to join the 2025 cohort!

11. Menstrual Health Awareness
In India, menstruation remains a taboo subject, leaving many adolescent girls unprepared and uninformed when they begin their periods. The Bleed to Lead project by Noida Hub is challenging these stigmas and promoting menstrual health awareness through impactful school workshops. In collaboration with Menstrupedia and Teach for India, the project has reached over 10,000 girls. Contact the Noida Hub to learn more.
