Families Invited to Explore the Rainforest at the June 20th Open House!

Mrs. Thorp’s 4th grade students have been hard at work transforming their classroom into a vibrant rainforest, complete with plants, animals, and educational displays, all inspired by their study of rainforest ecosystems.

Each day, students add new elements based on their research and reading, deepening their understanding of rainforests. In addition to hands-on decorating, students have been gathering fun facts and working diligently on their research papers, connecting literacy, science, and creativity in a meaningful way.

The project will culminate in a Rainforest Open House on June 20th, where students will proudly serve as tour guides and showcase everything they've learned and created.

We’re excited for families to experience the incredible effort and enthusiasm these young explorers have poured into their rainforest classroom! Look for invitations next month.
