Impact Opportunities

7. Longevity Economy Taskforce

By 2050, 65 countries will have over 30% of their population over the age of 60. Demographic aging has a significant impact on the economic and social fabric of nearly all countries. The Forum’s Longevity Economy Initiative convenes leaders from business, government, and civil society to promote dialogue, collaboration and action. They want to work with you! Apply to the Global Shapers Taskforce by 16 August to contribute to publications and ongoing work.

8. New York Summits

Let us know if you’ll be in New York City this September for the United Nations General Assembly, NYC Climate Week, or the Forum's Sustainable Development Impact Meetings. We don’t provide badges for these events. However, we’ll facilitate networking opportunities, share programming that comes up and keep you in mind for potential opportunities.

Community Spotlight

9. Project Highlight

Orlando Hub launched Little Free Diverse Library Installations in response to political pressures that are taking literature on the history and experiences of marginalized communities off school and library shelves. The project provides free access to books that reflect the diversity of Orlando communities by establishing little libraries in neighborhoods across Florida. The libraries create safe and inclusive spaces where people of all backgrounds can discover and engage with stories that resonate with them. Reach out to learn more!

10. Agenda

We believe in a world where young people are central to solution-building, policy-making and lasting change.
