Im März 2001 sind wir nach Delhi geflogen anlässlich einer Einladung zur Hochzeit des Sohnes eines damaligen Geschäftspartners. Diese Hochzeit hat in Alwar, Rajasthan stattgefunden. Wir haben ein Fahrzeug mit Fahrer gebucht sowie eine Tour durch Rajasthan geplant inklusive Besuch vom Taj Mahal in Agra. Das war eine Interessante Reise und wir haben viel gesehen. Leider sind auch diese Bilder mit einer älteren Kompaktkamera erstellt und nachträglich digitalisiert worden. Deshalb ist auch die Qualität der Bilder entsprechend schlecht. Nichtsdestotrotz denken wir es gibt eine Idee über unsere spannende Rajasthan Reise. Viel Spass beim durchscrollen. In March 2001, we flew to Delhi after receiving an invitation to attend the wedding of the son of a former business partner. The wedding took place in Alwar, Rajasthan. We booked a car with a driver and planned a tour through Rajasthan, including a visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra. It was an interesting trip, and we saw a lot. Unfortunately, these photos were also taken with an older compact camera and digitized later. That’s why the quality of the photos is correspondingly poor. Nevertheless, we think they give you an idea of our exciting trip to Rajasthan. Have fun scrolling through them.
Nächster Halt _ The Sariska Palace Hotel. Der Sariska-Palast liegt am Rande des Sariska-Nationalparks. Das Anwesen erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 120 Acres. Der Palast wurde vom legendären Maharaja Jai Singh erbaut, um den Prinzen von Connaught, einen Sohn von Königin Victoria, gebührend zu empfangen. Die faszinierende Architektur des Palastes und die Innenausstattung werden bis heute von vielen Gästen geschätzt. Der Palast verfügt über äußerst beeindruckende königliche Suiten mit allen notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten, die ein königliches Ambiente vermitteln, da dies die Räume sind, in denen einst Könige mit ihren Königinnen lebten. Es gibt auch weitere Zimmer mit einer hervorragenden Ausstattung. Next Stopp: Sariska Palace is placed on the borders of the Sariska National Park. This property is spread over 120 acres of land. The palace was built by legendary Maharaja Jai Singh for giving a grand welcome to the Prince of Connaught, who is also a son of Queen Victoria. The mesmerizing architecture of the palace and the décor has been appreciated by many guests till date. The palace has highly impressive royal suits with all the necessary facility giving a royal look, as these are the rooms where kings lived along with their queens. There are other rooms as well with well accomplished facilities.

Am nächsten Tag haben wir im Sariska Palace ausgecheckt und sind weiter nach Jaipur gefahren. The next day, we checked out of the Sariska Palace and drove on to Jaipur.

Der ehemalige Maharadscha Palast wurde zu einem wunderbaren Hotel erweitert. Das Gebäude hat viel Geschichte zu erzählen, man lebt wie in einem Museum oder einem Märchen aus tausend und einer Nacht. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und es fehlt an Nichts. Dass das Hotel nicht sehr gut erschlossen ist, ist eigentlich ein Vorteil, so finden nur Gäste hier hin, welche ähnliche Vorlieben an Gastfreundschaft teilen. The former Maharaja's Palace has been transformed into a wonderful hotel. The building is steeped in history; staying here feels like living in a museum or a fairy tale from *One Thousand and One Nights*. The staff is very attentive, and every need is met. The fact that the hotel isn't easily accessible is actually an advantage, as it ensures that only guests who share a similar appreciation for hospitality find their way here.
