Farewell

In the middle of the month, I had to say goodbye to Alexas, my faithful teammate. We had been together since 2021 and shared many challenges, such as training trips and times of prayer and fellowship. She is now in China, right on the border with NK. I know that at some point we will meet again.

May God shower her with His love and wisdom and help her in this new stage of her life, in which she will soon become a wife. May God bless you both and continue to strengthen the love you feel for NK.
A month full of meetings

February has been a month of many meetings. I met with a member of the organization to discuss the options and opportunities for obtaining a visa. This week I have to meet with the leader of the Asia region, and I have been in contact by email with the leader of the China region. And so far, we are still evaluating. I have spoken with the people who manage the educational project. They asked for my CV and told me that the educational project could be a possibility, but we continue to pray to know God's will and direction regarding the work team that I will be part of in the near future. On the recommendation of the people who are about to enter the north, I must change my passport so that it does not have any South Korean stamps. So, this month I had an appointment to change my passport. It will take ten working days to deliver it to me.

Good News

Several people have been approved for visas to enter the north this spring, so let us pray that God will give them wisdom and strength, and guide them in all the details that remain to be worked out so that those four months they will be inside will be impactful, so that their lives can be a reflection of God, so that the presence of the power of the Holy Spirit will be felt through them, and so that God will be glorified in everything.

Global one 80

I recently completed the process to become a member of Global One80. What is Global One80 and why join? The missionary organization I belong to, Pioneers-Mexico, does not have a direct way for me to receive donations, so they suggested that I contact Global One80. Global One80 is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It is a donor processing service agency that facilitates fundraising efforts, primarily in the United States. They act as a bridge between donors and missionaries to help them carry out their missionary work. If you would like to make a donation directly, you can do so via this link: https://gift.idonate.com/global-one80/rubi This second link is to view the page in general. https://globalone80.org/es/leader/rubi/ PD: Basically, this link will be useful for people who wish to support and are located in the United States.

Love your Neighbour

What a blessing it is to be instruments to help and bless others. This month, I had the opportunity to help an older couple who had been my neighbors for seven years and now needed support. Her husband was ill and passed away. I had the opportunity to tell him about Christ just before he died, and he received eternal life. The woman was left a widow and alone, and I have been able to support her, but above all, share the word of God with her.

Korean Course

I continue to make progress in my Korean classes. This month, I started taking private lessons with a teacher who lives in Seoul. I have classes once a week. I thank God for this teacher's life, for her love and willingness to help. In addition, on Fridays, I have three hours of classes at the Korean Institute of Venezuela.

Bible Seminar

This month I finished one of the courses, so I only have three left to complete the diploma in biblical studies.

We continue to pray without ceasing for the peninsula on Wednesdays. I will be leading the group, as Alexas can't get involved in this type of activity for security reasons, since she is in China. I have been sending information about NK, as well as monthly prayer calendars, to the WhatsApp prayer group. At the same time, God has allowed me to guide with His wisdom some members of the group who feel the desire to bring the Word to this nation.

Prayer Request

  • May I love our Lord more, with devotion. May I love His Word, long for His presence, experience His joy, and be a good steward for His glory.
  • Let us pray for perseverance, patience, and faith.
  • Wisdom to continue learning the Korean language.
  • Humility, submission, and absolute dependence on God.
  • May God guide the visa application process with wisdom.
  • Wisdom to complete all pending Bible courses.
  • May God provide the remaining 65% of the finances to complete the budget.
  • That I can receive my passport without any problems.
