Community Updates
1. Global Shapers Annual Review & Youth Pulse Survey
Global Shapers are invited to participate in the Global Shapers Annual Survey. Your responses help inform the World Economic Forum’s Youth Pulse report and help shape global advocacy for youth empowerment. This survey is also an opportunity to share your experiences, highlight your Hub's impact, and provide valuable feedback. This year, the 'Global Outlook' segment of the survey is open to all young people aged 18–30. To help ensure the findings reflect a diverse range of viewpoints, we encourage you to share the survey with your network. Two survey respondents will be randomly selected to join us for the Global Shapers Annual Summit 2027. The deadline to fill the survey is 5 July, 2026.
2. Virtual Programme at GSAS26
The Global Shapers Annual Summit will take place from 30 June - 2 July 2026 in Geneva, bringing together newly elected Curators from around the world for a leadership programme. Alongside the in-person summit, we will also be broadcasting for Next Generation Now: Youth Dialogues, our virtual youth event taking place on LinkedIn from 1-2 July. Register for the sessions on leadership, environment, entrepreneurship and foresight, and share your ideas in the comments section of the event pages.
3. Monthly Show: Signals for the Future
The June episode of the Global Shapers Show, on Thursday, 18 June at 15:00 CEST will highlight the role of intergenerational decision-making in building stronger institutions and set the stage for the Global Shapers Annual Summit 2026.
Host Natalie Pierce, will be joined by André Hoffman (Co-Chair, World Economic Forum). We will also hear from Community Champions Muneeb Maqbool and Bianca Goebel on how to prepare for the Global Shapers Annual Summit and make the most of this leadership opportunity. 4. “Proudly From My Home” Video Initiative
As part of Next Generation Now: Youth Dialogues, our virtual summit, Global Shapers are invited to contribute a short video showcasing a place that represents the spirit, culture, and identity of your city. Videos should be 30–90 seconds long, filmed in horizontal format, and feature a landmark, cultural site, natural landscape, or other location of significance. Tell us why your city is special.
Next steps: Record and submit your video to the designated Google Folder by Monday, 15 June, ensuring the file includes your Name and Hub Name. Please follow the technical guidelines to ensure high-quality video and audio suitable for broadcast during the Summit.
5. Future26
Congratulations to the Future26 cohort, selected to work on intergenerational foresight for the following areas and industries: engagement and impact; energy; financial services; health and consumer; built environment; manufacturing, supply chain and transportation; technology, communication and media. We look forward to witnessing your journey, celebrating your contributions to foresight, and deepening this collaboration with the Global Foresight Network in the months ahead.

6. Annual Meeting of the New Champions
The Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions will explore how innovation and emerging technologies can unlock new growth models and drive positive economic momentum. The 2026 meeting will take place from 23 - 25 June in Dalian, People’s Republic of China. Congratulations to the Global Shapers selected to represent youth perspectives at the meeting!

7. AI Summer School
This August, The DO and SmartStart, a World Economic Forum initiative, are bringing together young entrepreneurs and professionals from manufacturing and supply chain sectors for an immersive five-day experience in San Francisco focused on AI-driven innovation. Participation is free for Global Shapers and applications close on 30 June.
8. Call for Applications: Beyond Tourism Impact Stars
Beyond Tourism Impact Stars by the World Economic Forum, seeks to identify, recognize and replicate scalable, business-led solutions for a resilient tourism economy. The platform is designed to identify and scale high-impact, private-sector-led initiatives that address critical travel and tourism challenges. If your organization is working in travel and tourism or related industries, this is an opportunity to gain global visibility and recognition for impactful economic, social and environmental initiatives, while connecting with a growing network of organizations shaping the future of the sector. Applications are open until 15 July 2026.
