Did you know therapists who have a lucid dreaming practice become aware of their: unconscious bias, countertransference and increase their therapeutic capacity to best serve their patient/clients and supervisees? Not only that but lucid dreaming therapists save time and energy by harnessing the dream space for prosessing and emotional integration.

Did you know lucid dreaming is a naturally occurring phenomena, which activates pre-frontal brain regions linked to self identity, self reflection, emotional processing and decision making? This means novel actions to integrate shadow aspects through lucid dreaming can have neuro correlates associated to a new experience of self which traverse into the dreamers waking world experience.

Only 6 places available.

*All applicants will be asked to provide professional training qualification and professional members details.

* As applications are received, accepted and booking confirmed; participant's are then required to book their travel and flights to and from Figari–Sud Corse Airport for the retreat dates.

AWARENESS IS LIKE THE SUN. WHEN IT SHINES ON THINGS, THEY ARE TRANSFORMED. NHAT HANH
  • The shadow hides traits of true self from conscious awareness which hold both unique personal talents (our gold) as well as parts felt to be too undesirable or challenging to consciously recognise as ‘us’.
  • Lucid Dreaming for Shadow Integration: When we meet shadow parts in dreams lucidity, with a benign presence and understanding that they are parts of our shadow we can make conscious decisions to accept, embrace and assimilate them into our truest self with true confidence.

An Innovative & Unprecedented Training: The course was designed by UKCP Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and Conscious Dreamer Jennifer Glithero in response to growing interest from Psychotherapists, intrigued by the scientifically verified evidence on lucid dreaming for psychological healing and wanting to experience how dreams offer a bridge between the unconscious and co conscious mind.

HEAR IT FROM THE THERAPISTS

All hybrid online and in person teachings are delivered by Lucid Dreaming Facilitator Jennifer Glithero.

“Using Lucid Dreaming for Shadow Integration ‘has allowed me to be more aware of my blind spots as a therapist. Knowing what’s in my shadow allows me to be mindful of when it arises in session for me. For example, i used to try to hide how type A I am. I would try to present to others (both personally and professionally) as laid back and chill. After doing shadow work, I’ve come to embrace the parts of me that have strong opinions, like things a certain way, and are more high maintenance…Before shadow work, I think I disliked these parts of clients and that may have subconsciously interfered in our work. I also think I take things way less personally as a therapist now because I can see my clients’ shadow parts, even if they can’t yet!” Diane Martori Therapy LCSW PLLC, New York, NY.

  • Lucid dreaming for therapists shadow integration invites therapists to embark on a journey of personal and professional development.
  • The 2-hour, weekly online meetings and teachings facilitated by Jennifer Glithero are set within the constellation of the 'therapist dream group'.
  • The group approach maximises learning outcomes by offering therapists a personal and social training environment. This dynamic approach invites therapists to experience what Carl Jung knew about dreams, individuation, the collective unconscious trans-psychic-reality and what his contemporaries know as social dreaming, field theory and the dream matrix.
  • The course is made most rich by connecting personal practice within the social group space.
  • The course acknowledges the fundamental psychotherapeutic principal that self development arises through relationship.
  • The Therapists’ Dream Group provides a supportive and creatively playful environment for shadow integration.
