English - This week, we wrote up reports on how to catch a Minotaur. We used expanded noun phrases, similes and two-pair sentences to make our work more interesting.
Geography - In Geography this week, we have been learning about modern day Greece. We looked at the location and push and pull factors for visiting. We learnt what tourism means and created a tourism rescue plan to bring up tourism. We wrote post cards to family about how amazing Greece is. Next week, we are going to try Greek cuisine!
Science Club - In Science club this week, we looked at volcanoes. We looked at the different layers and created these using play-dough before extracting samples from them.
Waste Warriors - We had some visitors in on Wednesday teaching us all about recycling. WE worked as a tea to separate recycling before creating something we would make using recycled materials.
