Students celebrate the arrival of spring with games, teamwork, and creative Peep habitat designs.
Students and staff at Otselic Valley kicked off Spring Fest on Thursday, April 2, with an afternoon full of laughter, friendly competition, and school spirit.
The day featured a variety of games and activities, including mattress races, balloon-popping challenges, plastic egg tosses, balloon tosses in the stands, human bowling, trivia, freeze dance, and plenty of dancing. The event brought students together for an afternoon of fun as they celebrated the arrival of spring.
Earlier in the day, students also worked together across grade levels to design and build creative Peep habitats. From colorful scenes to imaginative designs, the activity gave students a chance to collaborate and bring their ideas to life. Seeing older and younger students work together on their habitat creations was one of the highlights of the day.
Staff members joined the excitement as well, including a hilarious inflatable race that had the crowd laughing and cheering. Thank you to our staff for organizing such a great day and to our students for bringing the energy and school spirit that made Spring Fest so much fun.
