1. Upholding our Charter

2. Curatorship Elections

Successful Curators empower others to lead and ensure hub sustainability by holding elections each year in February. Bring your questions about the upcoming elections cycle and distributed leadership to our Elections Open House at 15:00 CET on 28 November!

3. Monthly Show

Our November show will stream on 9 November at 11:00 CEST on TopLink and LinkedIn. We'll be joined by Martina Szabo, Head of Knowledge Communities at the World Economic Forum. Martina is responsible for the Forum’s Network of Global Future Councils, the world’s foremost multi-stakeholder knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking to shape a more resilient and inclusive future. 4. Protecting the Most Vulnerable

Around the world, individual Global Shapers are coming together to care for Palestinians that have been affected by war and devastating loss.

ShaperAid is an emerging initiative led by our members to fundraise for trusted international NGOs that are responding to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We acknowledge the work of Global Shapers who are protecting civilian lives, safeguarding human dignity and taking care of the most vulnerable through this initiative and others. 5. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28)

The 28th UN Climate Change Conference will take place from 30 November - 12 December in Dubai, UAE. The Conference will convene over 70,000 participants, including heads of state, industry leaders, academics, experts, non-state actors and youth. The Global Shapers COP28 Taskforce wants to know: will you be in-person at COP28? What are your perspectives on what needs to be achieved by world leaders at the Conference? Take the survey today.

6. World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2024

The 54th Annual Meeting will be the foremost platform to drive public-private cooperation, convening over 100 governments, all major international organizations, 1'000 global companies, relevant civil society and academic institutions, as well as global media. The Global Shapers #Davos50 Delegation will be announced on TopLink shortly.

Impact Opportunities

7. Education 4.0 Lighthouse Programs

The World Economic Forum has launched the 2024 Education 4.0 Lighthouse Programs. Lighthouses are best-in-class examples of initiatives and policies demonstrating significant, sustainable, quantifiable and scalable impact. Under the Education 4.0 Framework, we are looking for innovative approaches to integrating AI and other emerging technologies in education to advance Education 4.0 skills.

Apply to Education 4.0 Lighthouses by 13 November or use these to help identify inspiring project ideas for your city.

8. Regional Project Showcases

Community Champions will host regional project showcase sessions in December to spread awareness about your amazing work and scale successful projects! Get ready by preparing a pitch about your top hub project. Share it with your Community Champion today.
