BABSON COLLEGE
Babson College will return 2024 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year Colleen Corman, who took first place in the 400 meter hurdles at the NEWMAC Championship. On the men's side, Anthony Rodriguez will return for the Beavers after being recognized as the 2024 NEWMAC Athlete of the Year for the second straight year, taking first in the 10,000 meter run and second in the 5,000 meter run at the NEWMAC Championship.
MIT
MIT's Jackson Bliey returns after a first place high jump finish at the NEWMAC Championship last season, along with winning the first high jump title in the history of the MIT men's track and field program at the NCAA Division III Championship. Thrower Jonah Goldstein also returns after a first place finish in the javelin, while sprinter Ian Koe will return after a first-place finish in the 400 meter dash at the NEWMACs in 2024. Emily Ball returns after earning 2024 NEWMAC Field Athlete of the Year following gold medal finishes in the discus, hammer and javelin at the NEWMAC Championship. Alexis Boykin also returns after winning an NCAA title in both the hammer and the shotput last season. Sprinter Marina Miller will return to the track after earning first-team all-conference honors in the 200-meter dash.
SALVE REGINA UNIVERSITY
Salve Regina University will look to improve on their finish from last year, as sprinter Olivia Tacconi returns after a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter dash at last season’s NEWMAC Championship. Kelsey Chiasson enters the weekend after breaking the school record with a 10.92m throw in the shot put this season.
SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE
Springfield will return several all-conference performers from last season, including Mike Anderson who won the 400-meter hurdles in his first NEWMAC championship in 2024, andJoe Wong also returns after placing first in the 800-meter run last year. On the women's side, Katherine DeFosse returns after earning second team all-conference honors in the 100-meter hurdles last season, and has already qualified for DIII New Englands this season.
U.S. COAST GUARD ACADEMY
U.S. Coast Guard Academy sprinter Ian Naff will return to the track for the Bears after a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash at the NEWMAC Championship last season. On the women's side, Allie Wildsmith returns after winning the high jump at the NEWMAC Championship last season, as well as the 2025 NCAA Indoor National Championship, and currently has the highest mark in DIII this outdoor season.
WHEATON COLLEGE
Wheaton College's Andrew Fortin returns after a second place finish in the 400 meter hurdles at the NEWMAC Championship last season. The Lyons also return several all-conference honorees from 2024 on the women's side, including Michaina Loriston, who was a first-team all-NEWMAC performer in the 100 meter dash and distance runner Jaz Vanderhoof, who won the 10,000 meter run last season.
