Join Wudang Daoist Michael Xia Chongyi for our first Meditation Seminar at our new school, Seven Mountains Tai Chi, in downtown State College, Pennsylvania. This event is designed for introducing a variety of meditation skills and practices for beginners and first timers, new to Daoist methodologies and techniques.

• SAT 9PM-10PM (Optional) - Extended Meditation Session
• SUN 8AM-9:30AM - Workshop 5 - Quiet Sitting, Sitting in Oblivion, & Living In Meditation
• SUN 10:00AM-NOON - Workshop 6 - Complete Practice Routine for Daily Cultivation

SEMINAR DETAILS:

• Dates: Weekend of April 5 + 6, 2025
• Location: Seven Mountains Tai Chi, 213 E Calder Way, State College, PA, 16801
• Cost: $150 Full event, or $40/workshop, +tax. **Students at SMTC save 20%**
• Prerequisites: No previous meditation experience required; just be a courteous and considerate person.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Wear layers for cold and warm environments
• Bring extra clothes/socks in case of rain, so you do not meditate while damp
• Indoor shoes or slippers for in the training hall
• Notebook & pen/pencil
• 2-3 throw blankets
• 1-2 throw pillows or sitting cushions
• Water bottle

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

• Lessons
• Extra time to ask personal question in private
• Extra meditation & training options before and after event
• Coffee & tea while at the school
• Use of school equipment, blankets, pillows, etc.
• Certificate of Participation & Completion of Level 1 Daoist Meditation Introductory Course
