Otselic Valley Central School is proud to announce the top academic honors for the Class of 2025!
We extend heartfelt congratulations to: Valedictorian, Carlie Golden and Salutatorian, Caylene Russell
These two remarkable young women have exemplified academic excellence, leadership, and dedication throughout their high school careers.
Valedictorian: Carlie Golden
Carlie, daughter of Ashley and Patrick Golden, has been involved in Student Government, National Honor Society, Colgate Seminars, and has served as Class President. She also plays goalie for the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team and works as a supervisor at Magro’s in Cincinnatus. After graduation, Carlie will attend SUNY Morrisville’s Nursing program to earn her RN degree, with plans to specialize in Labor and Delivery.
Salutatorian: Caylene Russell
Caylene, daughter of Cassandra and David Russell, is an active member of FFA, Student Government, National Honor Society, Yearbook, Drama Club, and Band, and currently serves as Class Treasurer. In May 2024, she earned the prestigious Empire Degree, the highest honor awarded by New York State FFA. Caylene will attend Cornell University’s Animal Science program to pursue a degree in Veterinary Science, with aspirations to work with both small and large animals.
