Hello! Thank you very much for voting in our parent governor election if you have managed to do this already. We have 2 great candidates and I'm sure that either one of them would really be supportive of our school. If you haven't managed to vote yet, the link to do so is here. This is your chance to help to make sure that parents' opinions and ideas are shared directly with school leaders by supportive and interested governors.
Please could we remind you of a few things (special thanks to so many people who help to keep things running smoothly and our site safe!): Please don't walk through the driveway gates at any time of day; don't park in the school car park; ensure that children are in class BEFORE 8:50, don't allow children to climb up the grass bank at the side of the bridge; please ring us if your child is absent; don't keep them off school for minor illnesses - ask us if you're not sure. We want to be a school of excellence, so we need your help to get there!

Please support your children by ensuring they are following the required uniform expectations, including on PE days. Children should be dressed in a yellow or black polo shirt and black trousers, skirt, shorts or plain black leggings. Yellow gingham dresses may also be worn. Black cardigans or hoodies can be worn with or without the school logo. For PE, children need their white school PE top or plain white T-shirt and black shorts or tracksuit bottoms. No football shirts please. Please may we remind you to label your child's uniform with their name.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and for supporting your child by ensuring they're at school on time and they read at least 4 times each week. If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's time in school you can email enquiries@sqp.wwpat.org, find me on ClassDojo or chat to me at the start or end of the school day.
At Swinton Queen Primary School, children are aspirational, courageous and inquisitive; respectful of all.
