RELEASE Kiss from a Ghost is a music duo that fuses metal with an eclectic flair, delivering heavy soundscapes and melancholic lyrics with a subtle and sometimes playful twist. Unpredictable and compelling, their music defies genre boundaries with a unique edge. The partnership, made of Laís Tomaz (singer and lyricist), and "_flo.w" Luccas Vasconcellos (multi-instrumentalist and music producer), is an long standing one. Their friendship started on their first band back in 2014 when both musicians lived in Brazil and turned into a mostly digital collaboration once Laís moved to The Netherlands, which was first titled OFYR.
Kiss from a Ghost is currently wrapping up the recordings for their 2nd album, and their in-between latest releases are the singles Fly Away from Mars and LOVELIES. Their first album, Disconnected, was independently released in 2013 with 14 tracks, including 4 singles with professionally produced music videos: Two Crazy Babies, Your Favorite Poison, Gone and Too Broken. The release was followed by a deluxe edition containing 3 extra bonus tracks and an acoustic EP to celebrate the album’s 2 years anniversary.
