4th and 5th graders tackle hands-on projects with imagination and skill

Students in Otselic Valley’s 4th and 5th grade Enrichment Group are turning ideas into reality through engaging, student-driven projects in the library. With a focus on creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, these young learners are diving into activities that combine design, technology, and storytelling.

Designing a Dream House with TinkerCad

Using TinkerCad and a 3D printer, students are creating everything from miniature furniture and pets to trampolines and pools -- filling their custom-designed houses with their own imaginative touches. Each student’s project is a unique expression of creativity and spatial thinking.

Writing Their Own Stories

In addition to 3D design, students are also developing their creative writing skills by crafting original stories. These narratives give students a chance to stretch their imaginations while building their confidence and voice as young writers.

The Enrichment Group continues to be a place where curiosity meets creativity, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
